Abstract: A steering box for a motor vehicle comprises a rotatable toothed pinion, an axially movable rack within a casing, and a support unit to support the thrust which the pinion applies to the rack during operation. The support unit comprises a rotatable roller operable to support the rack. The roller is provided with an axial hold in which is formed a pair of rolling tracks for rolling bodies. A pair of rings are disposed within the hole in contact with one another, each forming with the roller the rolling tracks for the rolling bodies. Two rings of the rolling bodies are disposed between the roller and the rings. A pin supports the rings. The pin is mounted in a cylindrical body provided with a central cavity operable to house the roller, at least patially. The cylindrical body is provided with a pair of slots each of which is able to receive one end of the pin.

Abstract: The belt stretcher unit is designed for assembly on a drive provided with a flexible member, e.g. for motor vehicles and consists of a pin, pivoting round a first axis, and of a pulley turning on the pin round a second axis eccentric with the first; the pulley is supported on the pin by at least one rolling bearing, and between the pin and the bearing, provision is made for an annular element made of elastic material.

Abstract: The process comprises at least a first phase for separating a plurality of particles of molten steel from a bath of molten steel, a second phase for subjecting these particles, while still in the fluid state, to a first system of forces acting on the outer surface of each of the said particles and to a second system of forces acting on each element of the body of each particle, the said two systems of forces being chosen in such a way that these forces tend to impart a substantially spherical form to each of the said particles, and a third phase for removing heat from the said particles sufficient to bring them substantially to the solid state.

Abstract: A support assembly for a motor vehicle wheel having an outer ring provided with a flange for fixing to a suspension strut for the wheel, an inner ring with a fixing flange for the wheel, and rolling elements which roll between the two rings, in which the inner ring is mounted on a shaft and is provided with oppositely directed conical surfaces cooperating with a conical surface formed on a shoulder of the shaft coaxially with respect to a cylindrical surface formed on the shaft itself and with a conical surface of a ring fitted over the cylindrical surface.
