Abstract: A system for mounting a seat to the front of a gaming machine. A base platform is provided that has a front edge. At least one hole is disposed in the base platform proximate its front edge. A seat is attached to the base platform utilizing a vertical column. The vertical column is adjustable in height between a fully extended position and a fully retracted position. The vertical column holds the seat in a position facing the gaming machine. However, when the vertical column is in its fully retracted position, the seat can be turned ninety degrees to facilitate a person entering or exiting the seat. A locking mechanism joins the base platform to the gaming machine. Authorized personnel can only open the locking mechanism.

Abstract: A chair with readily removable and replaceable cushions having a seat frame and a back frame. Decorative cushions may be removably and interchangeably attached to the seat frame and to the front and back of the back frame. The seat frame has slots for receiving tabs that are located on the underside of the interchangeable seat cushion. The seat cushion is further secured to the seat frame by a releasable locking means. The back frame is connected to the seat frame by an L-shaped bracket. The back frame includes a fastener for releasably snap-fitting with an actuatable release tab located on the underside of a back cushion. The back cushion is releasably affixed to the back frame by urging the back cushion against the back frame such that the actuatable release tab engages the fastener. The back cushion is removed from the back frame by applying pressure to the actuatable release tab such that the tab disengages from the fastener thereby releasing the back cushion from the back frame.

Abstract: A chair with replaceable cushions having a seat frame and a back frame. Upholstered cushions may be interchangeably and releasably attached to the seat frame and to the front and back of the back frame. The seat frame has slots for receiving tabs that are located on the underside of the interchangeable seat cushion. The seat cushion is further secured to the seat frame by a locking means. The back frame is connected to the seat frame by an L-shaped bracket. The back frame has molded fasteners or apertures for releasably attaching the back frame to front and back cushions which each contain complementary molded fasteners and apertures. The result of which is a chair having readily removable and interchangeable cushions.

Abstract: The chair includes a seat back which is engaged to a seat base by an L-shaped bracket. A seat cushion is upholstered to seat cushion plate. Front and rear seat back cushions are upholstered to front and rear seat back cushion plates. The seat cushion plate includes insert molded snap fasteners which are complementary to insert molded fasteners or apertures on the seat base for releasing attaching the seat cushion plate to the seat base. Likewise, the front and rear seat back cushion plates could include insert molded snap fasteners or other hardware which are complementary to insert molded snap fasteners on the front and rear of the seat back for releasably attaching the front and rear seat back cushion plates to the front and rear of the seat back.

Abstract: A detachable and fully adjustable game stool assembly for a slot machine including an elongated flat base member having a guided engaging portion at one end for guiding the base member into slidable detachable engagement with a rigid support member fixed to the gaming machine, and including a locking means for interlocking the guided engaging portion of the base member and the fixed support member. The locking means and fixed support member prohibit longitudinal and lateral movement of the flat base member relative to the gaming machine. In one embodiment of the subject invention the locking means comprises a plurality of threaded locking pins which engage locking apertures and recesses provided in the fixed support member and elongated base member. In an alternative embodiment of the invention, the locking means comprises an elongated latch member pivotally mounted to the fixed support member so as to engage a locking recess provided in the flat base member.

Abstract: An adjustable and detachable game stool assembly for a slot machine includes an elongated base plate member which is detachably connected at its front edge to the slot machine, and includes an adjustable seat configuration secured to the opposite edge of the base plate. The seat configuration includes a vertical post secured to the base plate, and a seat is connected to the post so as to be manually adjustable toward and away from the slot machine for maximum comfort of the patron as he or she plays the slot machine. In alternate embodiments of the invention, the seat is adjustable vertically as well as horizontally. In further embodiments of the invention, the seat is connected to suitable electrically powered motor and actuating devices so as to readily facilitate positioning of the seat relative to the slot machine for maximum comfort of the patron.

The upturned portion of the base member may be detachably engaged with the fixed support member to permit access to a cash box located in the base of the gaming machine.
