  • Patent number: 11352693
Abstract: The present invention relates to utilizing atomic layer deposition (ALD) techniques to deposit a layer of boron compound in a light-weight composite carbon-based foam derived from natural precursors, graphene, or other carbon-based materials, to minimize the effects of radiation in space applications.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 24, 2020
Date of Patent: June 7, 2022
Assignee: United States of America as represented by the Administrator of NASA
    Inventor: Vivek Dwivedi
  • Patent number: 10740222
Abstract: A system and method for automatically identifying and reporting test units of computer-executable code corresponding to computer-executable code changes within an integrated development environment application so that the code affected by the code changes are tested by the determined test units. The determining of the test units corresponding to the code changes may include determining both direct affectations and indirect affectations to avoid unnecessary testing and an incomplete identification of unit tests.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 23, 2018
Date of Patent: August 11, 2020
    Assignee: SAP SE
Inventors: Krishnamoorthy Sathyamoorthy, Sriharsha Venkata Teegavarapu, Vivek Dwivedi
  • Publication number: 20200125480
Abstract: A system and method including, within an integrated development environment application, identifying changes to a set of computer-executable code; determining one or more unit tests corresponding to the identified code changes; executing the one or more unit tests corresponding to the code changes; generating test results for the executed unit tests; and exporting the generated test results to a reporting entity.

  • Patent number: 6394244
Abstract: An electromagnetic clutch (110) for an air conditioning compressor includes a generally cylindrical pulley (111) rotatably mounted on a comressor housing (116) and having an annular friction surface (120a, 120b) in a cavity (120). A driven member (112) is mounted on a compressor shaft (113) and has a leg (118, 119) with an annular friction surface (118a, 118b, 119a, 119b) positioned radially adjacent the cavity friction surface to form an annular space (120c, 120f) therebetween. A quantity of flowable magnetic material (127) is provided in the annular space and a magnetic coil (124) is fixed on the housing adjacent thereto. When electrical power is applied to the magnetic coil (124), magnetic flux is generated in the annular space (120c, 120f) polarizing the magnetic material and frictionally coupling the friction surfaces to cause the pulley (111) to rotate the driven member (112).
