  • Publication number: 20240146403
Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may detect a trigger event associated with a satellite communication link, the trigger event being based at least in part on at least one of: a status of an access link associated with the UE, or information associated with another device or a component of the UE. The UE may transmit a communication via the satellite communication link based at least in part on detecting the trigger event. Numerous other aspects are described.

  • Publication number: 20200412656
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to monitoring a set of operational conditions to establish a dynamic prioritization of a plurality of RATs. Data rates of the plurality of RATs are managed based in part upon the dynamic prioritization. In some designs, the dynamic prioritization is used to determine a data rate tolerance of each of the plurality of RATs, after which a RAT-specific data rate target for each of the plurality of RATs is determined based at least in part on the determined data rate tolerances and a monitored set of operational conditions, whereby the data rates of the plurality of RATs are managed based on the RAT-specific data rate targets. In some designs, the monitored operational conditions relate to a processing system of a vehicle, or an interior or exterior environment of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 9687480
Abstract: Chiral 1-(4-methylphenylmethyl)-5-oxo-{N-[(3-t-butoxycarbonyl-aminomethyl)]-piperidin-1-yl}-pyrrolidine-2-carboxamides as inhibitors of collagen induced platelet activation and adhesion. The present invention provides chiral (2S)-1-(4-methylphenylmethyl)-5-oxo-(3S)-{N-[(3-t-butoxycarbonyl aminomethyl)]-piperidin-1-yl}-pyrrolidine-2-carboxamide, and (2S)-1-(4-methylphenylmethyl)-5-oxo-(3R)-{N-[(3-t-butoxycarbonyl amino methyl)]-piperidin-1-yl}-pyrrolidine-2-carboxamide of formula 6 and 7 respectively. The present invention also relates to use of these moieties as inhibitors of collagen induced platelet adhesion and aggregation mediated through collagen receptors. The present invention provides a process for preparation of chiral carboxamides of formula 6 and 7 using the process which has advantage to avoid any racemization at the a-carboxylic center, during N-alkylation. The reagent LiHMDS is used at low temperatures to furnish methyl N-(p-methylphenylmethyl)1pyroglutamate in good chiral purity.

  • Publication number: 20070089417
Abstract: Engineers have attempted to reduce undesirable emissions from internal combustion engines by using apparatuses, such as catalytic reformers that include pre-combustion catalysts. An apparatus of the present invention includes an apparatus housing that defines at least a first flow inlet and includes an upstream support and a downstream support. The upstream support defines a plurality of second flow inlets, and the downstream support defines a first portion and a second portion of a plurality of outlets. A plurality of second flow paths are defined by a plurality of tubes extending between the plurality of second flow inlets and the second portion of the plurality of outlets. At least one first flow path is defined by a plurality of surfaces and fluidly connects the first flow inlet with the first portion of the plurality of outlets. At least one surface of the plurality of surfaces is coated with a pre-combustion catalyst. The downstream support preferably includes a plate with a predetermined porosity.
