    Abstract: A system configured to perform style-aware listener animation. By representing different listening styles (e.g., facial expressions) using an embedding space, a single model can be trained to generate unique facial animations for a number of distinct listeners. Thus, individual listening styles can be associated with a listener identifier, enabling the system to (i) animate a plurality of different listeners with unique nonverbal behavior and/or (ii) select a particular listener identifier or desired type of listener style with which to animate. This enables the model to be generalized to new listeners to generate additional listener facial responses without needing training data for each new listener. The model may process a listener representation style or listener identifier, along with input data corresponding to a speaker talking, to generate unique facial animation responsive to the speech.

    Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for error correction. A memory device may have a number of memory cells each of which stores a bit of information. One or more error correction code (ECC) may be used to determine if the bits of information contain any errors. To mitigate the effects of failures of adjacent memory cells, the information may be divided into a first group and a second group, where each group contains information from memory cells which are non-adjacent to other memory cells of that group. Each group of information may include data bits and parity bits used to correct those data bits. For example, as part of a read operation, a first ECC circuit may receive information from even numbered memory cells, while a second ECC circuit may receive information from odd numbered memory cells.

According to one aspect of the connector, the wafer and the terminal conductor are arranged vertically in the connector, and the tail contact of the terminal conductor comprises a surface mount tail contact. In other aspects, the terminal conductor includes a side surface, a cut edge surface, and a body bend along the terminal conductor body. The cut edge surface is an edge surface formed from shearing or cutting the terminal conductor out from a lead frame. The surface mount tail contact includes a side surface and a surface mount cut edge surface without a bend in the side surface.

    Abstract: A method for fabricating heat exchangers using additive manufacturing technologies. Additive manufacturing enables the manufacture of heat exchangers with complex geometries and/or with internal and external integral surface features. Additive manufacture also facilitates the manufacture of heat exchangers with regional variations, such as changes in size, shape and surface features. In one embodiment, the present invention provides a heat exchanger with a helicoidal shape that provides axial elastic compliance. In one embodiment, the internal channel of the heat exchanger varies along its length. The internal channel may have a cross-sectional area that increases progressively from one end to the other. In one embodiment, the external shape of the tubular structure may be non-circular to optimize heat transfer with an external heat transfer fluid. In one embodiment, the present invention provides a heat pipe with an internal wicking structure formed as an integral part of the additive manufacturing process.
