Patent number: 12254548Abstract: A system configured to perform style-aware listener animation. By representing different listening styles (e.g., facial expressions) using an embedding space, a single model can be trained to generate unique facial animations for a number of distinct listeners. Thus, individual listening styles can be associated with a listener identifier, enabling the system to (i) animate a plurality of different listeners with unique nonverbal behavior and/or (ii) select a particular listener identifier or desired type of listener style with which to animate. This enables the model to be generalized to new listeners to generate additional listener facial responses without needing training data for each new listener. The model may process a listener representation style or listener identifier, along with input data corresponding to a speaker talking, to generate unique facial animation responsive to the speech.Type: GrantFiled: December 16, 2022Date of Patent: March 18, 2025Assignee: Amazon Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Gourav Datta, Vivek Yadav, Yue Wu, Ayush Jaiswal, Rajiv M Reddy, Prateek Singhal, Karthik Ramakrishnan, Premkumar Natarajan

Publication number: 20250021435Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for error correction. A memory device may have a number of memory cells each of which stores a bit of information. One or more error correction code (ECC) may be used to determine if the bits of information contain any errors. To mitigate the effects of failures of adjacent memory cells, the information may be divided into a first group and a second group, where each group contains information from memory cells which are non-adjacent to other memory cells of that group. Each group of information may include data bits and parity bits used to correct those data bits. For example, as part of a read operation, a first ECC circuit may receive information from even numbered memory cells, while a second ECC circuit may receive information from odd numbered memory cells.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 29, 2024Publication date: January 16, 2025Inventors: Yoshinori Fujiwara, Vivek Kotti, Christopher G. Patent number: 11634293Abstract: The present invention provides an adaptive control system to control a plant using direct output feedback in which a function of the full plant state, as opposed to estimates thereof, is used for feedback control of the plant. The adaptive control system of this invention is therefore highly useful in the control of plants, particularly plants for controlling the physical properties of rolls of web material and more particularly a calendering apparatus. Accordingly, in a particularly preferred embodiment the adaptive control system of this invention controls loading of a calender apparatus, such as a pair of opposed rolls forming a calendering stack, based upon the physical properties of a previously processed web.Type: GrantFiled: July 26, 2022Date of Patent: April 25, 2023Assignee: Kimberly-Clark Worlwide, Inc.Inventors: Ryan A. Patent number: 11477288Abstract: An example network device includes a primary node and a secondary node. The primary node includes one or more processors implemented in circuitry and configured to receive a message from a collector device requesting to subscribe to statistics of a metrics streaming session; initiate a telemetry session for sending the statistics to the collector device; replicate data of the telemetry session to the secondary node; and send the data of the telemetry session to the collector device. In this manner, in the event of the switchover, the secondary node may act as the primary node and resume the telemetry session. That is, the secondary node, acting as a primary node following the switchover, may receive statistics data from one or more sensors related to the metrics streaming session, and send telemetry session data, representative of the statistics data, to the collector device as part of the telemetry session.Type: GrantFiled: June 30, 2021Date of Patent: October 18, 2022Assignee: Juniper Networks, Inc.Inventors: Maneet Singh, Kishore Wariyal, Vivek M
