  • Publication number: 20240358288
Abstract: An assembly for delivering an analyte sensor comprising a sensor control device. The sensor control device comprises an electronics housing with a shell having a first aperture and a first interface, and a mount having a second aperture and second interface, wherein the housing has an interior space. The two interfaces define a first sterile barrier. The housing also comprises a first mating member, a circuit board, and an analyte sensor. The assembly also comprises an applicator to deliver the sensor, and comprising a housing and a cap removably coupled to the housing to seal the applicator's interior, a sharp hub, and a second mating member extending within the first or second aperture, which mates with the first mating member to define a second sterile barrier. The sensor control device also comprises a collimator, a third sterile barrier, and a fourth sterile barrier which define a sterilization zone.

  • Patent number: 10271934
Abstract: A toothbrush provides a head with bristles, a neck and a handle. An eccentrically rotational weight is engaged for rotation with a motor. The motor and weight are disposed within the handle. The handle, neck and head each have a different intensity of vibration. The toothbrush houses an electrical circuit, which includes a processor and at least two LEDs (light emitting diodes) at least one of which illuminates the neck and optionally also the head and the ends of the bristles attached to the head. At least two of the LEDs in the circuit are capable of emitting different colored light with respect to each other. The at least two LEDs are switched on for a predetermined time in a predetermined sequence under the control of the processor.

  • Patent number: 8588864
Abstract: An electronic device as provided here includes a primary housing, an acoustic transducer, a lower layer of acoustic mesh material, and an upper layer of acoustic mesh material. An interior volume is defined within the primary housing. The primary housing includes an interior mounting surface, an exterior mounting surface, and an acoustic port. The transducer is located within the interior volume, and the lower layer of mesh material is coupled between the interior mounting surface and the transducer to cover a lower opening of the acoustic port. The upper layer of mesh material covers an upper opening of the acoustic port. Each layer of mesh material provides an amount of acoustic transparency and an amount of visual obscurity such that the transducer is effectively hidden from view without adversely impacting the audio performance characteristics of the transducer.
