Publication number: 20230263452Abstract: A method includes inserting, into a heart of a patient, a catheter having multiple electrodes, and placing the electrodes in contact with tissue of the heart. For each of the electrodes: (i) position signals indicative of a position of the electrode, and (ii) electrocardiogram (ECG) signals acquired by the electrode, are received during a predefined time interval. A positioning stability, along the predefined time interval, is calculated for each of the electrodes based on the position signals. For the electrodes whose positioning stability has an error smaller than a given threshold, calculating whether the ECG signals are indicative of an atrial fibrillation (AF) in the heart. The ECG signals that are indicative of the AF are stored.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 22, 2022Publication date: August 24, 2023Inventors: Aharon Turgeman, Bejmjamin Cohen, Vladimir Dvorkin, Natan Sharon Katz

Patent number: 9188477Abstract: A system for producing an output signal representing movement of an object's surface has a continuous wave (CW) signal source for producing an CW signal directed at the object's surface. The CW signal is produced at a first frequency. A receiving element receives a signal reflected from the object's surface when the CW signal hits this surface. A down-converting frequency mixer converts the received signal into a signal of a second frequency lower than the first frequency. The frequency mixer is configured to produce an output signal representing an amplitude-modulated (AM) component of the received signal and having a parameter representing movement of the object's surface.Type: GrantFiled: December 9, 2011Date of Patent: November 17, 2015Assignee: Linear Technology CorporationInventor: Vladimir Dvorkin

Patent number: 6202088Abstract: A cable communication system (100) where a control unit (110) sends operation parameters to subscriber units (130) and the subscriber units (130) respond by modifying the method of communication. Also, the subscriber units (130) send messages which include information on the subscriber unit (130) and the capabilities of the subscriber unit (130). Furthermore, the control unit (110) efficiently manages the system 100 by monitoring the capabilities and instructing the subscriber units (130) on-how to communicate on the system (100). Such management allows for the migration of subscriber units (170) from one service area (140) to another (190) without the disruption of service. In addition, initialization of subscriber units (130) may be accomplished over the cable and does not require an operator at the subscriber location.Type: GrantFiled: March 14, 1996Date of Patent: March 13, 2001Assignee: Motorola Inc.Inventors: Richard J.
