  • Publication number: 20160077967
Abstract: A system and method for identifying data fields for remote address cleansing, whereby a plurality of address file hash values are stored and associated with a plurality of known address data file profiles. An uploaded address file is received at the processing site from a sender who wishes to have his address list processed. A received address data file profile is identified for the uploaded address the. A first hash value is calculated based on the identified received address data the profile. The first hash value is compared with the stored plurality of address the hash values. If the first hash value matches one of the stored plurality of hash values, then the known address data profile of the matching stored hash value is associated with the uploaded address file. If the first hash value does not match any of the stored plurality of hash values, then preparing a new address file profile, generating a new hash of the new profile, and storing the new profile along with the associated new hash.

  • Patent number: 8719310
Abstract: An illustrative data structure is provided using a structured table that uses a split primary key including a first key, referred to as a partition key, and a second key, referred to as a row key, along with a timestamp key, but that does not otherwise utilize uniform columns that can be used as a key. The partition key that is utilized is unusually fine in that it consists of an individual user identifier that is unique to the system and/or across multiple systems used in an enterprise. Additionally, the system can limit access to one session per individual partition key.

  • Publication number: 20120200076
Abstract: An illustrative label stock and associated systems and methods for identifying and utilizing sheets of label stock in online postage systems are described. In one configuration, a label stock is provided that includes a cryptographically secured serial number. The uppercase letters of the modern English alphabet are utilized in a character string to provide a serial number string component and a cryptographic check string component. The check string includes all or part of a cryptographic hash function output based upon the serial number string and the cryptographic hash function. The character string includes the serial number characters and the check string characters in an interspersed format.
