  • Patent number: 7017681
Abstract: The proposed invention relates to wellbore technologies and is intended to produce action on productive rock. Device for hydrodynamic action on wall of a well comprising a casing jointed with the pipe conduit directly or via a roller support and inside of which the mechanism for cavitating of flow of a liquid, mechanism for directing and splitting of the flow and mechanism for interrupting of the discharge jets are sequentially placed. The mechanism for cavitating of flow of a liquid is made in form of an auto-oscillating system. And specifically it can be made in a form of a ball with its diameter ratio to inner diameter of the casing of 0.9–0.98 and a limiter of axial motion; or a ball with its diameter ratio to inner diameter of the casing less than 0.

  • Patent number: 6863125
Abstract: The proposed device for operation of free flowing and gas lift oil wells relates to production of gas-liquid mixtures, and particularly of gasified oil, and can be used in wells if either the productive formation flows naturally or when compressed gas is artificially supplied to lift the liquid (i.e. gas lift production) and can be made in two embodiments. In first embodiments of the device for operation of free flowing and gas lift oil wells a device for modifying of a gas-liquid flow structure is placed inside a lift tubing string employed to lift the liquid and gas, which device is made in form of, at least, one float ball valve where radius and weight of the ball are selected depending on speed of the gas-liquid flow and diameter of the ball 0.8-0.9 of inner diameter of tubes of the lift tubing string.

  • Patent number: 6736209
Abstract: The invention relates to well construction and is directed at an oscillation excitation in a pipe string. According to the inventive method, an operating fluid is circulated in the pipe string. An autonomous mechanism for vibrational impact embodied in the form of an element, for instance a hollow ball having a rigid envelop and filled with gas, possessing a positive floatability, covering from 0.85 to 0.95 of a cross-sectional flow area of the pipe string and having an unrestricted degree of freedom. In the second variant, the inventive device comprises a ball support embodied in the form of a transverse beam or a crossbar rigidly connected to a spiral cylindrical spring arranged inside a tube under the ball with the aid of an easy-push fit. The spring force is selected with respect to a calculated axleload dependence on the mass of the ball and on flow strength with a basic flow rate of the operating fluid.

  • Patent number: 6725923
Abstract: Method and devices for freeing stuck pipes in wells in the absence of circulation or intensifying of inflow of fluids from a productive rock, for cleaning plugged well screens, and for improving quality of cementing of casing pipes in wells. Transverse vibrations are excited in a column of tubes in the well by axial motion of a hammer or hammers suspended inside the column of tubes on a flexible suspension support. The hammers have a maximum cross-section which is 0.90-0.98 times the inner diameter of the tubes. The hammers oscillate in a radial direction and hit the wall of tubes when the flexible suspension is pulled, thus exciting transverse vibrations in the column of tubes. The strength and repetition rate of hits can be varied depending on the speed of axial motion of the hammers, weight of a load placed under the hammers, number or shape of the hammers, spacing between the hammers, and the density or viscosity of a liquid filling the well.

  • Patent number: 6705396
Abstract: A method and apparatus for producing fluid cavitation is provided. For a given channel cross-section of a pressure line, the flow is accelerated so as to reach a speed at which Re>Recr, where Re is the Reynolds number and Recr is the critical Reynolds number; the flow is then interrupted for a time less than half of the phase of the hydraulic shock. The device for cavitation of fluid flow is mounted in the channel of a pressure line and includes a cavitator which has the form of a working body placed in the casing and can move radially inside the line and, to a limited extent, along the axis of the line. The maximum cross-section surface of the working body in a plane perpendicular co the axis of the line is more than 0.8 of the passage of the line but not equal to it.

  • Patent number: 6705399
Abstract: A method and device for forming a preferred gas liquid flow structure via separation of liquid and gas phases. The method and device relate to the production of gas and oil in wells. The operation and spacing of the devices ensure that the quantity of liquid moved upward exceeds the quantity of liquid running downward. The devices are sequentially installed along a tubing column. A displacement chamber in the form of an upturned cup moves axially in the tubing column. The travel of the cup is defined and controlled by a formula. The cup can have side openings in its lower section and a flange in its upper section. The flange normally blocks gas exhaust openings in a sleeve secured between the ends of the tubing members. The flange can move axially along the tubing.

  • Patent number: 6702204
Abstract: The invention relates to hydro mechanics and can be used for deep borehole drilling for cavitation erosion of a bottomhole, for opening-out a new productive layer for a casing pipe perforation, for bed stimulation in order to create channels for inflow pressure, for scraping out a pipe, for dispergating solid particles in a fluid and for mixing nonsoluble fluids, for eliminating microbiological features from a fluid, and also in mass exchange devices and in hydrosystems for forming a cavitating fluid jet. The inventive cavitating jet comprises a body provided with a profiled flow channel and a barrier obstructing a flow. The barrier can move in a radial direction. The jet cavity is divided by a baffle into two chambers and the movable barrier at the extreme position thereof closes the flow section of one chamber. The barrier can be embodied in the form of a ball or cylinder having one or several degrees of freedom for radial displacement and closes at least 80% of the total section of the jet channel.
