Abstract: An animal cage comprises an outer frame defining the peripheral edges of a box like enclosure, and a series of wall panels for releasably mounting in respective faces of the enclosure to form spaced side, end, and top and bottom walls of the enclosure. Each panel is held in the surrounding frame by spring loaded latch pins adjacent each end of the frame which are urged into corresponding openings in the frame and can be released at either end for swinging the panel open about the opposite end latch pin, or released at both ends for removing the panel from the frame. The frame is releasably securable to one or more additional frames arranged one on top of the other, side to side, or end to end. The internal wall panels may be removed to increase the height, width or length of the enclosure, or left in place to provide an assembly of separate cages for different animals.

Abstract: A rack for forming a slide out support shelf in an enclosure such as an oven comprises an outer frame member defining the perimeter of the rack and having opposite front and rear limbs and opposite parallel side limbs, and a series of spaced parallel support members extending between and rigidly secured at their opposite ends to one of the pairs of opposite limbs of the outer frame member. The support members define a support surface of the rack and the rear limb of the frame member forms a stop member raised above the support surface when the rack is positioned in the enclosure with the side arms engaging above opposed guide ribs on opposite side walls of the enclosure. The side limbs have integrally formed rearwardly projecting and downwardly inclined hook-like projections for engaging over the guide ribs to prevent the rack from tilting and from pulling all the way out.

Abstract: An improved constraining grate adapted to alleviate vibration, rattle, and dislodgement of the improved constraining grate. This invention utilizes a circumferentially resilient structure with downward projections which are accepted by holes within the receiving unit and which are bound therein.

Abstract: An improved deflection-resistant rack designed to reduce the amount of deflection suffered by a rack because of weight being supported therewith. The rack strength achieved by this invention is the result of a design which utilizes each element of the improved rack as an integral member of its spaced double-bar construction. Frequently elements of the improved rack serve in multi-functional capacities within the improved rack design.

Abstract: An improved rack constraining apparatus especially adapted to alleviate vibration and rattle when a rack, such as an oven rack, is located in an unstable environment, such as an oven within a recreational vehicle. This device utilizes the outer body wires of the rack itself to bind the support rib between the body wire and the rack frame.
