    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 30, 1983
Date of Patent: June 26, 1984
    Assignee: RCA Corporation
Inventors: Vladimir S. Ban, Eugene S. Poliniak
  • Patent number: 4401689
Abstract: A method of chemically vapor depositing a material on a plurality of stacked substrates comprising heating a tubular susceptor surrounding the stack to thereby heat the substrates by radiant heating.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 28, 1980
Date of Patent: August 30, 1983
    Assignee: RCA Corporation
    Inventor: Vladimir S. Ban
  • Patent number: 4389441
Abstract: High density information records comprising a conductive carbon-loaded polyvinylchloride record are lubricated with a fractionated methyl alkyl siloxane lubricant which contains at least two dopants in an amount sufficient to reduce sensitivity of the records to moisture.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 1, 1982
Date of Patent: June 21, 1983
    Assignee: RCA Corporation
Inventors: Pabitra Datta, Eugene S. Poliniak, Vladimir S. Ban
  • Patent number: 4263872
Abstract: A slitted tubular member within a reaction chamber encloses a stack of spaced substrates on the surfaces of which are deposited material by chemical vapor-deposition. The tubular member is formed of susceptor material adapted for heating by RF energy or by electrically heated wire. Oscillating means disposed in the slit direct a gas flow into the spacings between the substrates, the stack of which is spaced from the tubular member.
