  • Patent number: 4930026
Abstract: A flaw detector includes a readout unit; a sensor of cycles or lines, and a mechanism for driving the magnitogram and a magnetosensitive transducer. A permanent memory is made as a magnetic medium and a recording magnetic head, a test data processing unit, an interface, and a computing device are provided.

  • Patent number: 4916535
Abstract: A method of non-destructive quality inspection of materials wherein a data transmitter and a material to be inspected are positioned very near to each other and set in motion in relation to each other. Information fed by the data transmitter is converted into a black-white or color image indicative of the quality of the material being inspected. Information fed by the data transmitter is kept in a memory and, as it is converted into a black-and-white or color image, it is periodically read out. The address of a memory location in the memory from which the readout cycle is to begin is assigned prior to the start of each readout cycle. A videomonitor realizing this method including a data transmitter mounted on a scanning device, a display unit connected to a control unit and an address unit including a recording counter series connected to a switch, as well as a readout counter connected to another input of the switch.

  • Patent number: 4481825
Abstract: A device for measurement of vibrations comprises a microwave generator whose energy is transmitted through an antenna system to an object being investigated, reflected therefrom and fed to a detector through an antenna system, said detector also receiving energy of high-frequency reference oscillations. The antenna system comprises an elliptical mirror, in the first focal point of which, near the mirror, there is mounted a radiator irradiating the entire surface of said mirror, while the object being investigated is located in the immediate vicinity of the second focal point, which is remote from the mirror.

  • Patent number: 4452066
Abstract: A series circuit including a transducer responding to the parameters of motion of an object during impact, a pulse shaper and a main switch. Connected to the output of the switch are a unit for measuring the area of the impact pulse, an integrator and two AND-NOT elements. The device also includes three additional switches. One input of one switch is connected to the output of the area measuring unit and the other input of this switch is connected to the output of one AND-NOT, while the output is connected to the input of a memory block. One input of the second switch is connected to the output of the area measuring unit, while the outer input of this switch is connected to the output of the AND-NOT through a NOT element. The output of the second switch is connected to the input of a second memory block.

  • Patent number: 4209744
Abstract: An automatic eddy current inspection system for discrimination of defects in elongated parts made of conducting materials comprises an alternating current generator connected in series to an amplitude selector via a differential encircling eddy-current transducer and a detector. The amplitude selector has two selection levels. The system also comprises a signal analyzer with a controllable switch and the following counters: a counter for determining the length of long cracks; a minor defects counter; a major defects counter; and a counter for determining the length of tested parts. The outputs of the counters are connected to the inputs of a sorter having its outputs connected to quality grade indicators. The controllable switch of the signal analyzer has its control input connected to the output of the amplitude selector which corresponds to a higher selection level.
