  • Patent number: 10966672
Abstract: A sliding arrangement for mobile X-ray devices enabling functionality for tomosynthesis acquisitions on systems without this functionality. The sliding arrangement substitutes a conventional X-ray collimator mount for fixing an X-ray collimator onto the gantry of a mobile X-ray system, and which adds the supplementary mechanical functionality that is required to perform tomosynthesis acquisitions.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 8, 2018
Date of Patent: April 6, 2021
    Assignee: AGFA NV
Inventors: Rainer Nebosis, Johannes Hoelzl, Vladimir Zemanek
  • Patent number: 10898156
Abstract: A radiation image capturing system includes a processing unit that determines at least three distances between at least one first distance sensor provided at a radiation generation unit and at least three second distance sensors provided at a detection unit based on one or more signals emitted by the first distance sensor, and that determines an orientation of the radiation generation unit and the detection unit relative to each other based on inclination information provided by a first sensor unit provided at the radiation generation unit and a second sensor unit provided at the detection unit. Alternatively, the processing unit determines distances between at least three first distance sensors provided at the radiation generation unit and at least three second distance sensors provided at the detection unit based on signals emitted by the at least three first distance sensors to determine an orientation of the radiation generation unit and the detection unit relative to each other.

  • Publication number: 20190125285
Abstract: A mobile radiation image capturing system includes a radiation generation unit that generates X-ray radiation; a mobile carriage on which the radiation generation unit is mounted; a drive unit that moves the carriage by linear motion in two dimensions and/or by rotation; at least one detection unit that captures a radiation image of an object; at least one sensor unit that determines an orientation and/or a position of the radiation generation unit and the detection unit relative to each other; at least one output unit that output information to a user; and a processing unit that, based on the orientation and/or position of the radiation generation unit and the detection unit relative to each other, determines whether the radiation generation unit and the detection unit have a predetermined orientation and/or position relative to each other and, if not, determines a positioning information on how to move the carriage and/or the radiation generation unit.

  • Patent number: 7676974
Abstract: In an automatic rifle which has been converted for non-military purposes to be semi-automatic by the removal of parts that allow its automatic function, additional suppressing elements are provided to ensure that the interruptor remains depressed until the bolt carrier fully passes the striker catch before the striker catch is engaged by the interruptor. This prevents premature connection of the striker catch and the interruptor, which could prevent sufficient striker spring pressure so that the next round can be fired. In one embodiment the trigger mechanism is fitted with an additional suppressing element (10) formed as a side push plate 7 on the bridge (6) of bolt carrier (5).

  • Publication number: 20070180748
Abstract: In an automatic rifle which has been converted for non-military purposes to be semi-automatic by the removal of parts that allow its automatic function, additional suppressing elements are provided to ensure that the interrupter remains depressed until the bolt carrier fully passes the striker catch before the striker catch is engaged by the interrupter. This prevents premature connection of the striker catch and the interrupter, which could prevent sufficient striker spring pressure so that the next round can be fired. In one embodiment the trigger mechanism is fitted with an additional suppressing element (10) formed as a side push plate 7 on the bridge (6) of bolt carrier (5).
