  • Publication number: 20150216437
Abstract: The present invention relates to a neurofeedback system that comprises an electrode (2, 2?, 2?) for contacting skin (6) of a user (7) for measuring a biofeedback signal (9) of the user (7), a first signal processing unit (3) for determining a signal characteristic (11) of the measured biofeedback signal (9), wherein the signal characteristic (11) represents a neurofeedback, a second signal processing unit (4) for determining a biofeedback signal quality (12) of the measured biofeedback signal (9) by extracting a signal feature of the measured biofeedback signal (9) and calculating a probability of a measurement error for said signal feature, which probability represents the biofeedback signal quality (12), and a feedback unit (5) for providing feedback to the user, wherein the feedback comprises the neurofeedback and a feedback about the biofeedback signal quality (12).

  • Publication number: 20140309943
Abstract: A system and method for the analysis of biopotential signals using motion artifact removal techniques is disclosed. The system includes a motion classification module configured to receive at least one biopotential signal and at least one reference secondary input signal. The motion classification module performs motion artifact classification for determining motion meta-information, comprising a type and/or severity indication about motion phenomena causing artifacts in the biopotential signal. The motion classification module communicates motion meta-information to a motion artifact reduction module configured to remove motion artifacts from the biopotential signal based on the information received from the motion classification module.

  • Publication number: 20130312060
Abstract: A system for generating an access control policy comprises a user interface (1) for enabling a user to indicate a topic (10) and a set of permissions (15). A document analyzer (2) analyzes the content of a plurality of documents (11) to find a set of documents (13) relating to the topic (10). A property finder (5) analyzes the content of a plurality of documents (11) to find at least one distinguishing property (12) of documents relating to the topic (10). A document selector (6) selects the set of documents (13), based on the distinguishing property (12). An associating subsystem (3) associates the set of permissions (15) with the set of documents (13) to obtain an access control policy (4).

  • Patent number: 8438236
Abstract: A device and a method for transmitting notification messages (165) and a corresponding device and method for receiving notification messages. A transmitting device (100) receives a filter definition (135) defining a filter type for use in filtering of the notification messages. The filter definition is transmitted to a terminal (160) via a broadcast installation (150). The terminal configures a filter based upon the filter definition. When a 5 notification is to be sent notification input data (145) is received and filter elements (175) are determined. The filter elements correspond to parameters derived from the filter definition. The value of the parameters correspond to the notification input data. The notification messages comprising the filter elements are generated and sent to the terminal. The terminal filters the notification messages using the filter, where the filtering is based upon the filter 10 elements.

  • Publication number: 20120076366
Abstract: A system (10) is provided for enabling biometric identification. The system (10) comprises at least two electrodes (12), a database (14) and a processor (13). The at least two electrodes (12) are to be applied to a face of a subject for capturing electrophysiological signals (51, 52, 53, 54) therefrom. The subject is one of the registered users. The database (14) comprises characteristic eye blink data of registered users. The processor (13) is operably coupled to the electrodes (12) and the database (14) and is operative to receive the electrophysiological signals (51, 52, 53, 54) from the at least two electrodes (12) during at least one eye blink of the subject, to derive eye blink characteristics from the obtained electrophysiological signals (51, 52, 53 54), to make a comparison of the derived eye blink characteristics with at least part of the characteristic eye blink data in the database (14) and to determine an identity of the subject, based on the comparison.
