  • Publication number: 20220407486
Abstract: A digital communication station includes a coupled inductor, driver circuitry, and a digital transceiver. The coupled inductor includes (1) a first winding connected between a first digital communication node and a first power node, (2) a second winding connected between a second digital communication node and a second power node, and (3) a third winding. The driver circuitry is configured to drive the third winding to increase respective inductance values of the first and second windings, and the digital transceiver is communicatively coupled to the first digital communication node and the second digital communication node.

  • Patent number: 8552791
Abstract: Under-voltage, over-voltage, and temperature detectors disposed in a switching circuit are turned on periodically and in response to an oscillating signal having a low duty cycle. Accordingly, because the voltage and temperature detectors remain off for long durations, their operating currents, and thus the operating current of the switching circuit is substantially reduced. The switching circuit has a current limiting function which is disabled when the switch current is below a threshold value, thereby further decreasing the current consumption of the switching circuit at low switch current levels.
