  • Patent number: 8282824
Abstract: A fuel filter having a filter element for filtering out particles and water from a fuel flowing through the fuel filter and having a water drainage unit for conveying filtered-out water out of the fuel filter, in which the water drainage unit is embodied as a stand-alone unit that may be separated from the filter element as needed. Also a semipermeable membrane that is permeable to water rests flat on a support. Alternatively or in addition, the water drainage unit is provided with a porous element for the evaporation of the separated water. In another embodiment two water-permeable semipermeable and hydrophilic membranes are provided. Finally, the filter element is embodied essentially in the form of a hollow cylinder in which at least part of the water drainage unit may be situated on the interior of the hollow cylinder.

  • Publication number: 20070164472
Abstract: A method of and an apparatus for producing a hollow body of thermoplastic includes the steps of injection molding a first hollow body part with an outward-protruding first joining edge, injection molding at least a second hollow body part with an outward-protruding second joining edge, putting the hollow body parts together at the first and second joining edges, and connecting the first and the at least one second hollow body part by a molded, at least partially U-shaped sealing portion comprising a thermoplastic.

  • Patent number: 6558576
Abstract: An electroconductive adhesive to which a luminescent heterocyclic compound, especially a benzoxazol, is added. The ratio of the heterocyclic compound in the adhesive, which preferably is a silver-charged, epoxy-resin adhesive, is 0.01% to 0.5% by weight. The adhesive is especially suitable for bonding electrical components to circuit carriers where automated process control is employed.

  • Publication number: 20020170341
Abstract: A system for measuring the properties of liquids, in particular, for measuring the viscosity of a liquid, includes a piezoelectric sensor device, which is completely immersed in liquid and has electric contact points for an electric control which are resistant with regard to the liquid. The piezoelectric sensor device includes electric lead conductors, which are resistant with regard to the liquid and are connectable to an electronic control/analyzer unit outside of liquid and to contact points within the sensor device by a suitable conductive adhesive containing metal particles.

  • Patent number: 6320747
Abstract: A method is described for producing electric modules, where a power module is attached to a fastening part with an adhesive, with the adhesive first being precured in an edge area, and in another step the power module is encased in a gel. In another step, the gel and the adhesive are fully cured together in one step. This method is cost- and time-optimized for producing a compact electric module with power modules that have a high power loss and are exposed to high mechanical stresses.
