    Abstract: A binder for textile structures which are graft copolymer latices in which the following are incroporated in the graft copolymer:(1) as graft substrate, from 40 to 70% by weight, of a polyorganosiloxane end blocked with hydroxyl groups as indicated in the following general formula ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 denotes alkyl groups having 1 to 24 carbon atoms or aryl groups having 6 to 10 carbon atoms,R.sup.2 denotes divalent alkylene groups having 1 to 8 carbon atoms,R.sup.3 denotes alkyl groups having 1 to 24 carbon atoms, aryl groups, alkoxy groups having 1 to 6 carbon atoms or a hydroxyl group,R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 together with the silicon atom may form a 5 membered or 6 membered ring containing a trivalent unbranched or branched alkyl group having to 8 carbon atoms, anda stands for 80 to 99 mol %,b stands for 1 to 20 mol %, anda+b=100 mol %and the viscosity of the polymer determined at 25.degree. C. is from 100 to 100,000 mPa.s,(2) as grafted vinyl polymer, from 30 to 60% by weight, of styrene and/or .alpha.
