Abstract: A mobile phone with an expanded telephone directory, wherein any electronic telephone directory of the mobile phone is supplemented by, in each case, one data base located in the nonvolatile memory of the mobile phone, each data base being assigned to precisely one specific telephone directory. The data base assigned to a telephone directory is preferably an expansion telephone directory, and a number of the expansion telephone directories can be assigned to each telephone directory.

Abstract: A method and a corresponding device for optimising a cellular telecommunication network are provided. According to the provided method, an emulating device is connected to the cellular telecommunication network, thus creating a signalling link between the emulating device and the cellular telecommunication network. With the emulating device, functionalities of elements of the cellular telecommunication network are emulated and data traffic is created to an air interface of the cellular telecommunication network. The effects of created data traffic on the cellular telecommunication network are then measured and the cellular telecommunication network is adjusted on the basis of the measurements.

Abstract: A method of transmitting signaling information between a master station and a slave station, a master station, a slave station, and various message elements are used to reduce the power consumption in a mobile slave station. A third message, which contains information regarding whether data to be sent is processed in the master station to increase the reception quality of this data at the slave station, is transmitted with the signaling information from the master station to the slave station.
