  • Patent number: 7338087
Abstract: A connector fitting for fixing a longitudinal body, for example, a cable, a hose, a pipe, a corrugated hose to a wall opening. The connector fitting includes a chuck, which penetrates the opening and includes slits that extend in an axial direction. The chuck is radially outwardly expandable, in an insertion direction behind the opening into a clamping region containing the slits, and can be tightened on an outer side or in front of the opening of the housing by the thread and a matching tensioning nut, such that the clamping region can be withdrawn into the opening and thus braced against the longitudinal body. The tensioning nut includes an abutment acting in the axial direction and the chuck comprises a counter-abutment adjacent to its thread section, and the counter-abutment exerts pressure on the abutment in a released position of the chuck.

  • Patent number: 7128345
Abstract: A terminal connection (1) is provided that includes a threaded sleeve (2) and a counter sleeve (3) that can be connected to it, and a terminal insert that can be pressed against an elongated body (4). The connection has a coupling element (6) that can be detachably connected to the connection and includes a depression (7) and a passage (8) for the elongated body (4), and a radially protruding collar located on the threaded sleeve (2) fits and can be inserted into the depression (7). The coupling element (6) has radially inwardly directed projections (9) for engaging over the collar of the threaded sleeve (2) in the coupling position that are located on a front edge of the depression in the insertion direction of the threaded sleeve (2). The coupling element (6) has a fixing area (10) adjacent to the depression (7) for connecting to a counterpart or a retaining nut and/or through opening (11) of a housing (12), to which the terminal connection (1) is to be attached.

  • Patent number: 6948971
Abstract: A cable connection (1) for connecting a cable (2) on a housing or a wall is provided. The cable connection includes a threaded bushing (3) in which the connection contacts (4) are arranged, and a conductor compartment (5), which in a use position, holds conductors (2a) or wires of the cable (2) to be to be connected, with the conductors coming to rest against the contacts (4) after insertion of the conductor compartment (5) into the threaded bushing (3). The connection also includes a clamping insert (7) that surrounds the cable (2) and lies axially adjacent to the conductor compartment (5), fixing the cable in an axial direction in the threaded bushing (3), and a cap nut (6) that is screwed onto the threaded bushing (3) for simultaneous radial deformation of the clamping insert (7) and fixing of the cable (2) in a final position of use.

  • Patent number: 6511099
Abstract: A connection fitting for the fastening of elongated bodies, for example of cables (2) or also hoses, tubes, corrugated hoses and the like, in an opening (3), which can be a through hole or a boring in a wall (4) of a building. The connection fitting includes a clamping collet (9) which, in its operation position, penetrates the opening (3) and is self expanding behind the opening (3), and which, by means of an axial retraction opposite to the direction of insertion, is also radially compressible and thus exerts a clamping force on the elongated body. To effect this motion of retraction, a sheath (11) is provided, which is frictionally connected or force-fit connected with a locking ring (15), which, by rotational movement of the sheath (11) itself turns accordingly and, by its own threading, is axially displaced until the ring (15) abuts the wall (4) on the opening rim (12) and remains there in a stop position. In this way, the respective thickness of the wall (4) is accommodated.

  • Patent number: 6406068
Abstract: A connection fitting (1) for fastening long bodies (2), such as cables, hoses, or pipes to an opening (3), for example in a wall (4) of a housing, has at least one fastening projection (5) which is divided by slits (6) opening in the radial and axial direction into abutment tongues (7). These tongues (7) have mounting projections (8) on their free ends projecting radially from the axis of the connection fitting (1). These abutment tongues (7) can be deformed radially inwardly of the fastening projection (5), when the fastening projection (5) is shoved into the opening (3), and thereby reach the mounting position behind the edge (12) of the opening (3). At a distance from the mounting projections (8) at least one stop (14) is arranged, which rests in the use position against the edge (15) lying opposite the edge (12) of the opening (3) engaged behind.

  • Patent number: 6394690
Abstract: A connection fitting (1) for the attachment of oblong structures, for example of cables (2), hoses, tubes, corrugated hoses or the like, to an opening (3), in particular, for passing through such an opening (3) while at the same time being attached is provided. The opening (3) involves a hole, a drill hole, or other opening in a wall (4), for example of a housing. The connection fitting (1) is constructed as a plug-in fitting, i.e. is readily affixed to the opening (3) by axial insertion into it. For this it has an attachment projection (5) which is subdivided by axial slits into retaining tongues, which have radially projecting retaining projections (8) on the outside that extend behind the edge (3a) of the opening (3) when the attachment projection (5) is inserted into the opening (3), such that they yield somewhat radially to the inside during insertion and after being stuck through, automatically move again radially outwardly.

  • Patent number: 6376766
Abstract: A mounting (1) designed for oblong structures such as cables (2), hoses or the like, which have an electrical shielding sheath (4), that contains in the usage position of an electrically conducting insert (6) that has a clamping finger (8) and creates an electrical connection between the shielding sheath (4) and the mounting (1) is provided. The mounting (1), under certain circumstances merely a wall opening or the like, possibly however also a complete cable screw connection with strain relief for the oblong structure—has a receptacle opening (7) for the insertion and guiding through of the oblong structure or cable (2) and especially also for the reception of the electrically conducting insert (6), which for its part has a mounting ring (9) and clamping fingers (8) that project from it in the axial direction.

  • Patent number: 6283510
Abstract: An angle-shaped line entrance (1) has two branches (3) and (4) set at angles to each other and functions for the attachment to a wall (2) or a housing in the area of a corresponding hole-shaped opening. In this way, oblong structures, for example, hoses (5) or cables or the like, can be guided and affixed on or through the wall (2), such that the corresponding oblong structures enter into the first branch (4), while the second branch (3) itself is connected to the housing or its wall (2). In the angular area, the two branches (3) and (4) can be swung relative to each other, so that they can also take on an aligned position. Locking in the angular usage position is done by coupling via a movement for the attachment of the oblong structure at least in the first branch (4), in such a way that both movements can be performed with the same activation component.

  • Patent number: 6179340
Abstract: A connection fitting (1) for attaching tubes, corrugated hoses, pipes, cables or other oblong bodies (2), in an opening or hole (3) of a wall (4), of a housing is provided. In this, the connection fitting (1) has an attachment projection (5) that can be anchored in the opening (3) and has retaining projections (8) located on abutment contact studs (7) formed by axial slots (6) that project radially outwardly across from a constriction. The abutment contact studs (7) and their retaining projections (8) are designed such that they have only a part of their retaining effect after insertion of the attachment projection (5) into the opening (3), i.e. they can be moved out of the opening (3) under a loading opposite to the insertion direction.
