  • Patent number: 10666252
Abstract: A capacitive sensor for detecting at a surface that an object is approaching which is designed to be flexurally rigid and/or torsionally rigid. The capacitive sensor includes a circuit carrier and/or a spacer element and/or a carrier. In this case, the circuit carrier is designed to be flexurally rigid and/or torsionally rigid and/or the spacer element is designed to be flexurally rigid and/or torsionally rigid and/or the carrier is designed to be flexurally rigid and/or torsionally rigid. The circuit carrier is in the form of a circuit board and is used for making electrical contact with the electrically conductive surfaces of the capacitive sensor. The spacer element is situated between the electrically conductive surfaces and the circuit carrier. The carrier is designed for connecting the capacitive sensor to a machine part, in particular to a machine part of an industrial robot.

  • Patent number: 8199449
Abstract: A monitoring device for protecting against contact or access to a hybrid vehicle having a plurality of high-voltage components and an electronic control unit connected to a low-voltage vehicle electrical system battery. Power actuators for actuating at least one electric machine are connected to a high-voltage battery by way of a power switch. The high-voltage components are monitored by way of a looped circuit and deactivated if the looped circuit is broken. A sensor that is sensitive to magnetic field changes is disposed in or at a removable contact connection of the electric machine or the electronic control unit. The sensor is connected to the looped circuit. A control component of the electronic control unit activates a discharge unit for discharging an energy storage device upon receiving a sensor signal generated by the sensor when the contact connection is broken.

  • Patent number: 8043108
Abstract: A high voltage plug-connector for the detachable electric connection of high voltage components, particularly an electric drive system of a motor vehicle, has a plug with electric power contacts, a socket with a mating contacts for mating with the power contacts, and a signal plug that interacts with signal contacts for activating the high voltage. The signal plug locks the plug and the socket mechanically in their plug-in position. The mechanical plug-connector has a pre-latching position in which the signal plug is guided to a releasing position and the electric contact between the power contacts and mating contacts can be released. The mechanical lock is released only when the electric contact between the power contacts and the mating contacts is opened and the signal plug is guided to a cover position in which the signal plug covers the power contacts.

  • Patent number: 5787583
Abstract: An apparatus and a method are proposed for adjusting a valve lift, particularly a valve needle lift of an injection valve of an internal combustion engine, wherein a valve seat, which is preset in a housing of the valve (20), is axially displaceable in the housing by means of plastic deformation. The apparatus is provided with an adjustment device (50) which generates a feeding motion for a pressing tool (53, 55) in the direction of the plastic deformation and with a measuring device (30) which determines the valve lift that is changeable by way of the plastic deformation of the valve seat and compares the valve lift with a preset desired value, with the adjustment device (50) being controllable by way of the desired value/actual value comparison. The pressing tool (53, 55) is fed by means of a first and, if necessary, by means of at least one further feeding process.
