  • Patent number: 6874716
Abstract: A beater bar capable of being acted upon on one side for impactor rotors and insertable form-fittedly into circumferential slots of the rotors has a bend with an elongate cross-section, a bearing surface heldable counter to a centrifugal force of the rotating rotors against a bearing surface of the rotors, a supporting surface engageable with an undercut in the circumferential slot; a piece which holds the beater bar in engagement with the undercut in an circumferential slot, the bend being arcuate, and a center of rotation of a smaller radius of an arc of the bearing surfaces being at a considerable distance from a center of rotation of a larger radius of an arc of the supporting surface, so that the two centers of rotation run in a line extending approximately parallel to a beating surface, the bearing surfaces being at an obtuse angle to one another in a prolongation of the smaller arc.

  • Patent number: 6745966
Abstract: An impact mill has at least one rotor fitted with blow bars rotatably mounted in a mill housing and acting together with at least one impact apron, said at least one impact apron pivotably arranged in the mill housing via a pivot axle and infinitely adjustable by means of a linear drive, whereby an end of the at least one impact apron to that of the pivot axle is adjustable in relation to the rotor, and whereby the linear drive is mounted on a cover plate of the mill housing and is pivotably connected to the at least one impact apron at a distance from the pivot axis, wherein the linear drive is horizontally arranged approximately parallel to the cover plate of the mill housing and acts on a single lever passing through the cover plate of the mill housing, and wherein said single lever is firmly connected with the at least one impact apron and together with the at least one impact apron is pivotable about the pivot axle.

  • Publication number: 20020139880
Abstract: An impact mill with at least one rotor (3) fitted with blow bars (2) is rotatably mounted in a mill housing (1) and acts together with at least one impact apron (4) that is pivotably arranged in the mill housing and that is infinitely adjustable by means of a linear drive (8), such as a hydraulic cylinder piston unit (9). An end of the impact apron (4) opposite to that of the pivot axle (5) is adjustable vis à vis the rotor. The linear drive is mounted on the cover plate (6) of the mill housing (1). According to the invention, the linear drive (8) is horizontally arranged approximately parallel to the cover plate and acts on a lever (11) passing through the cover plate and firmly connected with the impact apron (4).

  • Publication number: 20020050753
Abstract: A rotor of the closed type for impactors, produced from cast steel, as a casing and the rotor discs carrying this area cast in one piece, the rotor casing being of essentially single-walled design, and the circumferential slots for receiving the beater bars being provided in the cast body itself. Alternatively to this, the rotor casing may be subdivided into shells which are connected outside the circumferential slots by means of longitudinal weld seams to form a closed rotor casing, the rotor casing likewise being connected to the rotor discs carrying the latter by means of weld seams.

  • Patent number: 6129300
Abstract: The invention concerns blow bar 1 for impactor rotors with a mirror-symmetrical longitudinal cross-section for the purpose of reversibility, which is fitted in peripheral recesses 17 of the rotor advantageously comprising discs 16. According to the invention, the cross-section of blow bar 1 essentially forms a basic double trapezium shape with the wide bases of each trapezium as symmetrical axis 2. The rear 5 of the blow bar corresponding to the height of each trapezium is arranged at rightangles to the symmetrical axis and forms a level surface 6 over the total height of the blow bar. The invention also specifies an advantageous rotor for such a blow bar, Fig.

  • Patent number: 6092752
Abstract: The invention relates to a rotor 1 for impactors, comprising a plurality of cast steel rotor discs 2, welded together at their widened flanges 3 that are touching one another and which feature a widened outer rim 4, which is interrupted by peripheral recesses 5 to accommodate blow bars. For improved accessibility to the retaining pieces 16 holding the blow bars in the blow bar holders, provision according to the invention is made for the sides of the partial sections 7 of the outer rims 4 to be tapered circumferentially in the direction opposite to the rotation direction of the rotor.

  • Patent number: 5221054
Abstract: A rotor which is to be used in an impact crusher has a set of coaxial discs with radially inwardly extending peripheral recesses for elongated beater bars which are parallel to the rotor axis and each of which extends into a discrete recess of each disc. The beater bars have male or female detent elements which cooperate with complementary female or male detent elements of the discs at the rear sides of the beater bars to prevent radially outward movements of the beater bars in actual use of the rotor. The front sides of the beater bars are engaged by wedges which are biased radially outwardly against the beater bars and against the respective discs by fluid-operated thrust elements in the recesses of the discs. Each thrust element has a piston rod which bears against the respective wedge and urges the wedge radially outwardly in the respective recess, and each thrust element reacts against an elongated rail which is installed in the deepmost portions of a set of aligned recesses of the discs.
