    Abstract: The present invention relates to closure systems (10) for a container for pourable material in particular for pourable material for human consumption such as beverages. In particular the closure system (10)relates to a beverage bottle having a screw cap closure system. The closure system comprises a closure frame (20) providing the physical stability and and protection of the closure system (10) and a sealing means (30) which is removably joined to the closure frame (20) to provide appropriate sealing of the container. The present invention allows to recycle or reuse the closure frame (20) and to recycle the sealing means (30).
