  • Publication number: 20130199240
Abstract: A method and a system for thermal dewatering and preheating aqueous mixtures for feeding glass melting plants when passing through a shaft-like container provided with heating elements disposed one above another in tiers. To avoid the feed material from becoming glued together or agglomerating in the preheaters while the feed material is heated by exhaust gases with separately guided exhaust gases and feed material, a) the uppermost tier heating elements are closed relative to the mixture and are kept above 100 C, b) the interface between the mixture and the atmosphere above the mixture is shaped and heated by the uppermost tier heating elements so that part of the thermal output is emitted to the atmosphere via the mixture, and c) as the mixture proceeds through the container it is heated by further heating elements to temperatures close to the glass melting plant feeding temperature.

  • Publication number: 20130050966
Abstract: The main part of the melt produced during laser welding of two housing parts along a circumferential edge is made to flow towards the printed circuit board by a predefined geometry, thus fixing the board in a form-fitting manner. The basic geometry is modified to prevent the melt from distributing in both directions in an uncontrolled manner and make it flow towards the inside of the housing in a targeted manner. The printed circuit board can thus be fixed and the housing sealed in a single operation. Less space is required on the printed circuit board since the support surfaces only affect the peripheral zone of the printed circuit board. The peripheral zone is a barrier zone since the individual printed circuit board is cut out of a panel. Due to the larger contact surface, prestress losses caused by creep of the plastic have no adverse effect.

  • Publication number: 20080083242
Abstract: The invention describes an electromagnetically actuated locking means of simple mechanical construction for camping and leisure vehicles in particular, by which household appliances can be locked automatically. Therein, a mechanical bolt preferably is actuated via the ignition only and, in standard operation of the device when said leisure vehicle is parked, is not in engagement with a holding element on a door of a refrigerator e.g. Preferably, said locking means comprises a control and detectors for the position of said bolt engaging into a holding means, as well as a detector for detecting an opened or closed condition of said door. Furthermore, said locking means preferably comprises an illumination means and a communication interface by which functionality of the means can be checked and by which the individual function of said locking means can be addressed and/or detector signals can be interrogated.
