  • Patent number: 7882945
Abstract: A rolling conveyor has a plurality of feed rollers that define a conveyor surface, in which the feed rollers are joined on their end regions rotatably to a first and a second bearing assembly, at least some of the feed rollers on the second bearing assembly each have a first drive wheel, which is in rotary drive communication each with one second drive wheel, the second drive wheels are located on a rotatable drive shaft, with which they are in rotary drive communication, wherein the drive shaft is joined rotatably to a third bearing assembly, which is embodied separately from the first and second bearing assemblies, so that a drive shaft assembly comprising the drive shaft and the associated third bearing assemblies is joined as a unit detachably to the rolling conveyor.

  • Patent number: 7735425
Abstract: A conveyor system (10) includes a conveyor course (12), which has a curved portion and two tracks (22, 24) located one above the other, and a conveyor carriage (14); each of the tracks (22, 24) is assigned at least one horizontal track roller (34, 36) of the conveyor carriage (14), and at least one of the tracks (22, 24) is assigned a further horizontal track roller (34, 36), which is spaced apart in the conveying direction (L) from the one track roller (34, 36) associated with the same track (22, 24). The axes of rotation (A, B) of the two track rollers (34, 36) are located in alignment with one another; and, whenever both tracks (22, 24) are each assigned a further track roller (34, 36), the axes of rotation (A, B) of these further track rollers (34, 36) are likewise in alignment with one another.

  • Publication number: 20100059340
Abstract: A rolling conveyor has a frame on which a plurality of feed rollers that define a conveyor surface are rotatably supported, at least some of the feed rollers each have a first drive wheel, which is in rotary drive communication with a second drive wheel, the second drive wheels are located on a rotatable drive shaft with which they are each in rotary drive communication via a respective slip clutch, at least one and preferably all the second drive wheels and the associated slip clutch are combined each into a separate drive assembly that can be installed as a unit, the drive assembly is supported rotatably on the frame, and the drive shaft is received in the drive assembly in a manner fixed against relative rotation and preferably longitudinally displaceably.

  • Publication number: 20090065329
Abstract: A workpiece holder (56) for transporting workpieces in flexible processing lines, in particular assembly lines, is embodied for guidance along a guidance direction by means of a guide geometry of the processing line extending in the guidance direction, and the workpiece holder (56) has a first guide device (88, 88a, 88b) for guide engagement with the first guide geometry, and the workpiece holder (56) has a second guide device (90a), embodied separately from the first guide device, which second guide device is embodied for guide engagement with a second guide geometry, different from the first guide geometry.

  • Publication number: 20050284327
Abstract: A conveyor system (10) includes a conveyor course (12) with two tracks (22, 24) stacked one above the other, and with a conveyor carriage with two track rollers which are connected to one another by means of a bracketlike mounting element. A first shunt unit (52, 54) is associated with at least one of the two tracks (22, 24) and connects a main portion (22A, 24A) of this track (22, 24) selectively with one of at least two secondary portions (22B, 22C, 24B, 24C) of that track (22, 24). Moreover, a second shunt unit (58) is associated with at least one of the two tracks (22) and selectively opens or closes a through opening (60), provided in that track (22), for the bracketlike mounting element of the conveyor carriage. Regardless of whether the second shunt unit (58) is provided, the first shunt units (52, 54) are embodied as self-locking in directions opposite from one another.
