  • Publication number: 20240337576
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a measuring arrangement comprising a containment for a medium as well as to a measuring device for registering a property of the medium. The containment and/or the measuring device have/has, in each case, at least one apparatus, which apparatus includes a window to a lumen of the containment, wherein the window comprises a dielectric material, such as, for example, a glass or a ceramic, wherein the apparatus includes a ferromagnetic marking, which is adapted in case of a partial failure of the window to shed pieces into the medium, wherein a detector for detecting ferromagnetic materials is provided and adapted to check for presence of marking particles in the medium.

  • Publication number: 20240241082
Abstract: A sensor arrangement for determining a process variable of a medium in a containment comprises a sensor apparatus, a magnetic field apparatus, and a detection apparatus. The magnetic field apparat produces a magnetic field that penetrates the sensor apparatus, the detection apparatus and partially the medium. The sensor apparatus is embodied such that a magnetic property of a component of the sensor apparatus depends on the process variable, and the magnetic field of the magnetic field apparatus is influenceable by the sensor apparatus as a function of process variable. The detection apparatus is embodied to register a variable related with the magnetic field, especially the magnetic flux density, the magnetic susceptibility or the magnetic permeability, and, based on that variable, to determine the process variable. The sensor apparatus is arranged within an internal volume of the containment and the detection apparatus is arranged outside of the containment.

  • Patent number: 7657947
Abstract: A method for exciting free torsional vibrations a spring cantilever, which is clamped in on one side and has a longitudinal extension, of an atomic force microscope (AFM) is disclosed. The invention provides by the one-sidedly clamped-in spring cantilever being placed at a distance over a surface between which and the spring cantilever there is an acoustic coupling medium, by the surface being set into oscillations which are oriented laterally to the surface and are polarized linearly along an oscillation direction, and by the polarization axis given by the oscillation direction being oriented perpendicular to the longitudinal extension of the spring cantilever.
