A light source is disposed between the reflector component and the cover. The light source emits light therefrom. The lighting assembly also includes a reflective surface applied to the reflector component between the reflector component and the base such that the light emitted by the light source is transmitted through the reflector component prior to being reflected toward the cover by the reflective surface.
