  • Publication number: 20180039802
Abstract: An RFID apparatus for communicating with RFID transponders in accordance with an RFID protocol is provided that has an antenna, an RFID transceiver for emitting and receiving RFID signals with the aid of the antenna and has a control unit that is configured to encode RFID information into an RFID signal in accordance with an RFID protocol or to read said information from the RFID signal and to determine at least one spatial and/or speed parameter of an RFID transponder with reference to the RFID signal. The control unit is further configured to read container transponders and object transponders and to associate an object transponders with a container transponder with reference to the respective spatial and/or speed parameters.

  • Patent number: 7570793
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for providing corrected data in order to generate a model of a monitoring area which is located in the respective visual range of at least two opto-electronic sensors for determining the position of detected objects, based on the amounts of raw data elements corresponding to object points in said monitoring area, said amounts of raw data elements being respectively detected by one of the sensors when the visual range is sensed and associated therewith, and the amounts of raw data elements from various sensors which are temporally linked to each other forming a group. The raw data elements corresponding to said amounts respectively comprise at least the coordinates of object points detected by the associated sensor in relation to the position of the detecting sensor.

  • Patent number: 7295298
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for optically sensing the surrounding area of a vehicle using at least one optoelectronic emitting/receiving device that is mounted on the vehicle. According to the method, a monitoring area located in the field of vision of the emitting/receiving device is scanned and, in addition to the monitoring area, a region of particular interest is scanned by using at least one radiation deflecting device, which is located in the field of vision of the emitting/receiving device, however, outside of the monitoring area. The invention also relates to a corresponding sensing device.

  • Publication number: 20060115113
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for detecting and tracking objects based on deep resolution images containing pixels of at least one object, captured over a period of time by at least one sensor for detecting electromagnetic radiation, in particular a laser scanner, in a detection zone of the sensor. According to said method the following steps are carried out in successive cycles: at least one current object outline is formed from the pixels of a current image; at least one object outline is predicted in the current cycle for objects in a preceding cycle, starting from the respective object outline that was assigned to the corresponding object in the previous cycle; and a current position is determined for at least one of the objects, from the current object outline and/or the speed of an object is determined from the current object outline and the object outline in a preceding cycle.

  • Publication number: 20050248749
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for distance measurement by determining the pulse transit time, in which pulsed electromagnetic radiation is transmitted using at least one transmitter and signal pulses reflected at objects are detected using at least one receiver, wherein at least one received logic signal containing logic signals is generated from the received analog signal containing the signal pulses, in particular by means of a threshold circuit, and is evaluated with respect to the transit times of the logic signals, and wherein the received logic signal is read into a programmable logic circuit by means of a clocked data reading device and is mapped onto a time pattern in the logic circuit, in that instantaneous values of the received logic signal are stored in logic units of the logic circuit associated with the time windows for time windows of the time pattern corresponding to at least one clock pulse of the data reading device.
