  • Patent number: 6065496
Abstract: An electromagnetically actuated directional control valve is proposed, whose control slide (18) can be switched against a restoring spring system (45) into three switching positions (39, 41, 42) by a double-lift magnet (12). The spring system (45) has a strong spring (31) and a counter-acting weak spring (37), which are disposed on both sides of the control slide (18). With a pushing magnet (12), the control slide (18) is solely deflected against the weak spring (37), which is supported on it over the entire lift area. With a pulling magnet (12), a spring plate (32), which centers the center position (39), is pulled way from the control slide (18), which now is displaced by the weak spring (37), against the force of the strong spring (31). The tappet (29), connected with the armature, and the control slide (18) are separate independent components, which only form a frictionally connected operative connection.

  • Patent number: 5980215
Abstract: An adjustable hydrostatic pump (10), in particular a piston pump, is proposed, whose cam ring (22) is adjustable via a hydromechanical adjusting assembly (35) and which has a device for active noise abatement. A pressure chamber (39) of a adjusting piston (37) acting upon the cam ring (22) is acted upon by pressure changes, via an additional control unit (47) parallel to the hydromechanical pressure controller (41), in such a way that the oscillating actions of power-train forces on the hydraulic fastening of the cam ring (22) are reduced, thus lessening the noise produced by the piston pump.

  • Patent number: 5752427
Abstract: A hydrostatic radial piston machine 10 is proposed, whose adjustable reciprocating ring 18 has integrated means for detecting the eccentricity 20 between the reciprocating ring 18 and the rotor 14. In combination with the rotating rotor 14 and the binding of the sliding blocks 17 to this reciprocating ring 18, the eccentric location of the reciprocating ring 18 leads to a reciprocating motion of the work pistons 16 in a radial direction. Together with the kinematic conditions in the radial piston machine 10, this leads to a change in the spacing between two successive sliding blocks 17. This change in spacing varies in proportion to the eccentricity 20 of the reciprocating ring 18 and is therefore detected by a measuring instrument. To that end, this measuring instrument has a measured value pickup 27, which is integrated in the reciprocating ring 18 and outputs an increased voltage signal as long as sliding blocks 17, which act as measured value transducers, move past it.

  • Patent number: 5421294
Abstract: The hydraulic setting device has a differential cylinder (11) whose annular space (14) is continually subjected to pressure by a pump (16). The pressure space (18) at the large piston surface is connected to the pump via a connection conduit (41). A conduit branch, which leads to a control valve (21), emerges from this connection conduit (41). At the other end, this control valve is in connection with a return conduit (26). The pressure in the conduit branch (19), and therefore in the pressure spaces (14, 18) of the differential cylinder, can be varied by appropriate activation of the control valve.

  • Patent number: 4480202
Abstract: A magnetic linear drive includes an elongated cylindrical armature which is supported for axial displacement in a guiding pipe made of a pressure-resistant material. Two axially spaced solenoid windings are mounted on the guiding pipe and are interconnected by a permanent magnet. The solenoid windings are provided with lateral magnetically conducting cores the ends of which communicate with annular grooves formed in the guiding tube. The grooves are filled with a magnetically conductive material forming the poles of the electromagnet. In the region of the poles, the armature is formed with control flanges of different depths which are acted upon by the magnetic flux to impart the axial movement to the armature. One end of the armature is formed with a measuring flange which cooperates with measuring coils mounted on the guiding pipe.

  • Patent number: 4120631
Abstract: The injection-molding machine is operative when activated for performing a complete injection-molding cycle. The machine includes a mold defining a mold cavity, a plastifying and injecting screw, and an hydraulic cylinder-and-piston unit for driving the screw. During the course of a single injection-molding cycle, negative-feedback control of the pressure in the mold cavity undergoes an automatic transition into negative-feedback control of the pressure in the hydraulic cylinder of the cylinder-and-piston unit. The transition is selected to be abrupt or gradual, and if gradual there will be a transitional interval during which a composite negative-feedback control of both the mold cavity and hydraulic cylinder pressures is occurring.

  • Patent number: 3965918
Abstract: An electro-fluidic signal converter has a body provided with an inlet and two outlets for pressure fluid. The body is composed of a pair of outer non-magnetic plates and a plurality of laminated-together inner magnetizable plates which are fluid-tightly sandwiched between the outer plates. The inner plates have respective plate portions which together constitute a body section that is resiliently deflectable out of a neutral position, and this body section is formed with a fluid channel which communicates with the inlet and has a discharge orifice that communicates equally with both of the outlets when the body section is in its neutral position. An electromagnet is located adjacent the body and is energizable to thereby deflect the body section out of its neutral position to one of a plurality of operated positions in which the discharge orifice communicates preferentially with one of the outlets. A method of making the body is also disclosed.
