  • Patent number: 10768101
Abstract: A measuring device for sensing different gases and gas concentrations, includes an infrared radiation source, a measurement channel, which has an optical path and a gas interaction path, and radiation detectors arranged along the measurement channel. The optical path has a first band-pass interference filter arranged at a first deflection point and a first radiation detector is arranged after the band-pass interference filter. A method that uses the measuring device, includes: measurement radiation is introduced into the measurement channel containing the gas to be measured, the measurement radiation hits the first band-pass interference filter, wherein only radiation of a wavelength defined by the first band-pass interference filter hits the first radiation detector, radiation reflected at the band-pass interference filter is forwarded along the optical path in the measurement channel to a second radiation detector, and the gas concentrations measured by the radiation detectors are evaluated.

  • Patent number: 5677529
Abstract: A device for receiving light beams, especially a PIR movement detector, includes a housing having at least one window in which lens segments, preferably Fresnel lenses, are disposed in such a way that horizontally incident light beams are focused as direct horizontal beams onto two light sensors. The two light sensors are mutually disposed in such a way that a usable sensor detection angle of the two light sensors is defined. In order to achieve an enlargement of the detection angle, at least one horizontal reflector is disposed in the vicinity of at least one of the light sensors, in such a way that the horizontal reflector detects further light beams from a horizontal angular region not covered by the light sensors with the usable detection angle, and these beams reach at least one of the light sensors as reflected horizontal beams.

  • Patent number: 5300778
Abstract: The invention relates to a multispectral sensor with several filters and sensor elements for different spectral ranges of a radiation to be measured. The object of the invention is to so further develop a multispectral sensor of this type that it can be manufactured as a discrete component with small dimensions and has a high measuring accuracy, whilst obtaining a high output signal. This object is achieved in that the beam is broken down by an optical device into several partial beams and reflected onto filters. Behind the filters are located radiation-sensitive elements, which detect the spectral range corresponding to the transmission range of the in each case upstream filter. The remaining spectral range of the partial beam is reflected by the filter surface towards the other filters. Thus, each filter is supplied with the associated spectral ranges of all the partial beams.
