  • Publication number: 20230024271
Abstract: A vaporiser system for vaporising a composition includes a first element with at least one radiation source connected to an electrical energy source which is adapted to emit electromagnetic radiation, and a second element with at least one reservoir for holding the composition and at least one absorber. The first and the second element are reversibly and detachably connectable to each other in a non-destructive manner. A radiation conductor is arranged such that a radiation-conducting connection is formed between the radiation source and the absorber when the first element and the second element are connected to each other. The vaporiser system is adapted to vaporise the composition by the thermal energy obtained from the electromagnetic radiation by the absorber via conversion and/or by the electromagnetic radiation with increased wavelength compared to the absorbed electromagnetic radiation which is emitted by the absorber.

  • Patent number: 7222722
Abstract: Apparatus and method for conveying objects generally transversely to a direction of initial delivery. The apparatus uses two conveying arrangements which can move independently of one another. Each of the two conveying arrangements have a transport region and a return region. A dividing gap is arranged between the two conveying arrangements. A sliding mechanism can be positioned to at least one of adjust a length of the transport regions and adjust a length of the return regions. An equalizing mechanism can be positioned to at least one of compensate for the change in the return regions and compensate for the change in the transport regions. The sliding mechanism and the equalizing mechanism are separate mechanisms. This Abstract is not intended to define the invention disclosed in the specification, nor intended to limit the scope of the invention in any way.

  • Patent number: 5413265
Abstract: An arrangement for driving at least one roller of a roller unit for transporting web-shaped materials, such as X-ray sheet films or stimulatable phosphorous foils with substantially constant speed in a device for exposing or scanning these materials, the arrangement comprising a stepping motor having a motor output shaft, a friction drive having a drive input shaft, and a vibration damping mechanism provided between said motor output shaft and the drive input shaft. The drive is formed so that a ratio of the drive and a diameter of the roller is selected so that at least 20 steps of the stepping motor corresponds to a transporting path of the web-shaped material of one millimeter.
