  • Publication number: 20120081073
Abstract: An electrical connecting device having an output connection, which is designed to be detachably connected to a charging connection of an accumulator device of a vehicle operated using current, the electrical connecting device also including a supply connection that is designed to be detachably connected to a network connection of an alternating current low-voltage interconnected network. The connecting device is characterized in that the electrical connecting device includes an alternating current/direct current converter, which is suitable for converting the alternating voltage of the supply connection to an electric DC voltage suitable for the accumulator device. A method is also described for charging an accumulator device of a vehicle operated by current using an electrical connecting device.

  • Publication number: 20090204279
Abstract: A method for monitoring torque in a hybrid drive made up of an internal combustion engine having an associated engine control unit and an intrinsically safe electric drive having an associated control unit, a protected communication taking place in which the engine control unit emits a setpoint torque to the control unit of the intrinsically safe electric drive and receives a status signal from it; and the engine control unit emitting an error signal in response to the exceeding of a permissible torque or in response to a negative status signal. If the intrinsic safety of the electric drive is used for the constant torque monitoring according to the specifications of the setpoint torque within the control unit, the data flow between the engine control unit of the internal combustion engine and the intrinsically safe electric drive may be reduced. As a result, the monitoring effort for the communication that is carried out in protected form between the engine control and the control unit is also reduced.

  • Publication number: 20080155405
Abstract: A method for initializing an electronic system which has a base interface and several module-like plug-ins connected to it. To allow for a flexible addition and removal of plug-ins, the base interface and the plug-ins exchange information in the process of initializing the system. The plug-ins communicate what processes (priority, time pattern etc.) they contain. In addition they communicate what quantities (variables, functions, structures etc.) they require for executing the processes and what quantities they are able to provide in the context of executing the processes. On the basis of the information received, the base interface connects the individual plug-ins with one another such that the plug-ins receive appropriate references as to where they may access the required quantities while executing the processes. The references are for example pointers to a memory area or pointers to a structure in another plug-in.
