  • Publication number: 20140117108
Abstract: The Smart Irrigation Assistant (SIA) adaptor works in conjunction with an existing standard sprinkler timer to automatically modify the amount of water that is delivered to each zone based on the relative humidity. Provisions are also made for having the water delivered in intervals within the maximum time set on the standard sprinkler timer. This allows time for the water to soak into the ground before the remainder of the water allocated for that zone is applied. The SIA is powered from the existing standard sprinkler timer. It is connected to each of the wires that control the irrigating valves and it is connected in series with the common (ground) wire that goes to all valves. The SIA breaks the connection on the common circuit to the valves in order to stop the flow of water to the active zone.

  • Publication number: 20110018622
Abstract: The Simple Noise Control Method is a method used to eliminate all noise from a pulsed signal. By subjecting the pulsed signal to a band pass filter and duration filter based on simple, low cost and widely available timers, counters and logic gates or equivalents, any noise in the pulsed signal which have different frequencies or durations than the signal can be removed with very high certainty.

  • Publication number: 20100245127
Abstract: The garage parking assistant is an apparatus to help the car driver to park his or her car in a garage equipped with a garage opener which has safety sensors. The garage parking assistant will signal the driver by turning on an LED light when the rear car bumper just passed the safety sensors. At that moment, the driver can apply the brake and car is parked in an optimum position, just inside the garage, safely closest to the garage door.

  • Publication number: 20100127094
Abstract: The simple automatic sprinkler assistant is an apparatus to help the regular sprinkler timer to become a simple, fully automatic and zero maintenance sprinkler control system. The simple automatic sprinkler assistant combines with the regular sprinkler timer will automatically stop the sprinklers from watering when the air Relative Humidity (RH) is above certain target RH such as 70% RH. The simple automatic sprinkler assistant is connected in series and between the regular sprinkler timer and the valves. If it rains, when the Relative Humidity is above the target RH such as 70% RH, the simple automatic sprinkler assistant stops the sprinkler valves from watering the lawn.

  • Publication number: 20100076610
Abstract: The low cost automatic sprinkler assistant is an apparatus to help the regular sprinkler timer to become a low cost, fully automatic and zero maintenance sprinkler control system. The low cost automatic sprinkler assistant combines with the regular sprinkler timer will automatically adjust the watering time in order to keep the moisture of the irrigated land virtually unchanged within an acceptable tolerance. The low cost automatic sprinkler assistant is connected in series and between the regular sprinkler timer and the valves. If it rains, when the Relative Humidity is above 70%, the low cost automatic sprinkler assistant stops the sprinkler valves. The low cost automatic sprinkler assistant is also serves as a Relative Humidity Gauge with the tolerance of +and ?5%. A general method of calculation how much water is needed to irrigate to keep the grass or land at optimum condition is also provided.
