Each of the zones includes a plurality of core elements, the core elements being formed from at least one wire coil spring at least partially contained in a fabric pouch. The core elements are typically joined in linear chains. The zones vary in support firmness according to the selection of a user. The core elements include wire coil springs formed from wires of at least two different sizes, and of at least two different heights.

A foam core of the mattress is constructed to have selected characteristics of support and cushioning, the characteristics varying from zone to zone of the mattress. The foam core includes at least three zones; a first zone corresponding generally to an area that supports the head of a user, a second zone corresponding generally to an area that supports the torso of the user, and a third zone corresponding generally to an area that supports the legs and feet of the user. A top surface of the foam core is formed with a plurality of parallel transverse peaks.

One or more embodiments comprises storing content for a file that is used to run a particular software deployment. The file is associated with a particular directory that includes a link to a first filename. The first filename is generated as a function of the content for the file, such as by applying a hash function. Responsive to receiving updated content a second filename is generated as a function of the updated content. The second filename is different than the first filename. The link included in the particular directory is modified to point to the second filename. After modifying the link included in the particular directory, the updated content for the file is used to run the particular software deployment.

Abstract: An example apparatus for detecting respiratory rates includes an audio receiver to receive audio including respiratory sounds. The apparatus also includes an adaptive low-pass filter to process the audio using an adaptive bandwidth based on a mean breath rate to generate an envelope. The apparatus further includes a peak detector to detect a plurality of peaks from the envelope. The apparatus includes a respiratory rate calculator to calculate a respiratory rate based on the detected plurality of peaks.

Abstract: Brain activity detection technologies are disclosed. In some embodiments the technologies include a brain activity detection system that includes a sensor block including that includes at least one reference electrode and at least one sense electrode. The reference and sense electrodes are configured to produce analog reference and analog sense signals that are indicative of activity of a brain of a user. A signal processing block may also be included, and is configured to generate at least one digital differential signal based at least in part on the analog reference and analog sense signals. At least one processor may convert the digital differential signal(s) in said time domain to one or more frequency domain digital differential signals. Signal processing on the frequency domain digital differential signal may be performed to determine health information of a user. Devices, methods, and computer readable media utilizing such technologies are also disclosed.

Abstract: A storage system for simulation virtual shelves with physical storage shelves is disclosed. The storage system contains a management daemon configured to perform tasks relating to one or more virtual shelves in response to a request for a simulation test, where each physical storage shelf having one or more physical disks. It contains a simulation daemon providing a virtual shelf configuration information to the management daemon when the management daemon interacts with the one or more virtual shelves in response to the request. The storage system also contains a disk driver configured to interface the physical storage shelves with the management daemon. It further contains a simulation driver configured to, in response to the request for a simulation test, process instructions to and from the disk driver and the simulation daemon to simulate access to the one or more virtual shelves, without having to utilize multiple physical storage shelves.

If the server process is not accepting messages, the method further includes waiting for the backup server process to take over for the server process before sending the message. If the server process or the node fails after the message was sent, the method further includes waiting for the backup server process to take over for the server process.
