  • Publication number: 20050073585
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for tracking an object(s), including identifying the object(s) by correlating video data from at least one video device, based on motion data of the object(s) for a previous time, determining that the object(s) movement is stopped, based on determining that the stopped object(s) is not occluded, monitoring the stopped object(s) properties, determining from the monitoring that the stopped object(s) is moving, and, resuming track of the object.

  • Patent number: 6718054
Abstract: A method and system of providing segmentation of volumetric three-dimensional image data set such as MRA images. Initially, a three-dimensional MRA volume is input. An initial surface S is then generated by thresholding the input. A signed distance function v to S is then generated, where v=v(x,t) and S is the zero level set of v(·,0).

  • Patent number: 6549660
Abstract: An image processing system for generating a class model from an image by identifying relative relationships between different properties of different image regions, includes a region partitioner a relationship processor, a template generator and an image detector. The image processing system utilizes a class model defined by one or more relative relationships between a plurality of image patches. The relative relationships describe the overall organization of images within an image class. The relative relationships are encoded in a global deformable template which can be used to classify or detect images. The class model may be pre-defined or generated by the image processing system. In one embodiment, the class model is generated from a low resolution image.

  • Patent number: 5999840
Abstract: An image data registration system and method of storing a first data set of three-dimensional image data associated with a predetermined portion of an object with reference to a first coordinate frame; obtaining and storing a second data set of three-dimensional image data associated with a surface of the predetermined portion of the object with reference to a second coordinate frame; obtaining and storing a third data set of three-dimensional image data associated with a probe in the vicinity of the predetermined portion of the object with reference to a third coordinate frame; and registering the first, second and third data sets to generate a matched image data set in which the first, second and third coordinate frames are relatively aligned with one another.

  • Patent number: 5963670
Abstract: An image processing system and methods of operation within such a system are disclosed. The image processing system utilizes a class model defined by one or more relative relationships between a plurality of image patches. The relative relationships describe the overall organization of images within an image class. The relative relationships are encoded in a global deformable template which can be used to classify or detect images. The class model may be predefined or generated by an image processing system.

  • Patent number: 5531520
Abstract: The present invention provides an image data registration system and method of storing a first data set of three-dimensional image data associated with a predetermined portion of an object with reference to a first coordinate frame; obtaining and storing a second data set of three-dimensional image data associated with a surface of the predetermined portion of the object with reference to a second coordinate frame; and registering the first data set and the second data set to generate a matched image data set in which the first coordinate frame is aligned with the second coordinate frame.
