  • Publication number: 20150341802
Abstract: Digital signal processors (DSPs) process the digital baseband signals associated with CPRI links between BBUs and RRHs. The DSPs may be implemented at the RRH nodes (e.g., at the link leading to the BBU node), at the BBU node (e.g., at the links leading to the RRH nodes), or at both. The DSPs may be used to increase performance of the RAN. For example, the DSPs may implement digital filters designed to enhance the performance of the RAN.

  • Publication number: 20150332417
Abstract: A server device may receive information identifying property features relating to for-sale properties; identify a plurality of properties having one or more of the property features; identify particular properties, of the plurality of properties, having the one or more of the property features; receive location information for the particular properties; and generate, based on the location information, a trip plan identifying the particular properties. The trip plan may identify a sequence in which the particular properties should be visited and a route that should be taken when traveling between the particular properties. The server device may store or output the trip plan.

  • Patent number: 9185556
Abstract: An approach for forming a common network using shared private wireless networks is described. A shared access platform receives a request, from a user device, for connectivity to a wireless service provider network formed by a plurality of customer premise nodes. The shared access platform also authenticates, in response to the request, the user device for access to the wireless service provider network based on permission settings established for the plurality of nodes in association with the wireless service provider network.

  • Publication number: 20150262244
Abstract: A user device receives, from a device associated with a vendor, a request for user preferences associated with a user of the user device. The user preferences are stored in a memory associated with the user device. The user device authenticates the vendor, and determines particular user preferences, from the user preferences, that are relevant to the vendor. The device approves the request for the user preferences when the vendor is authenticated. The device retrieves the particular user preferences from the memory based on the approval of the request for the user preferences, and provides the particular user preferences to the device. The particular user preferences are used to determine products, services, or content, of the vendor, to offer to the user.

  • Publication number: 20150257112
Abstract: A device is configured to store target location information indicating an acceptable signal strength at a target location. The device may receive a signal emitted from a base station. The signal may be received at the target location. The device may measure the signal strength of the signal at the target location. The device may transmit a signal strength message including information based on the signal strength. The signal strength message may cause the base station to adjust a power with which signals are emitted from the base station such that the signals satisfy the acceptable signal strength at the target location.

  • Patent number: 9084375
Abstract: An airflow module for being received in a module bay of a data storage device enclosure is disclosed. The airflow module comprises a body having: a first face having a first opening therein; a second face having a second opening therein, the first face being adjacent to the second face; and, an airflow channel between the first opening and the second opening so as to allow the passage of air between the first opening and the second opening. The first and second openings are arranged to co-operate with airflow openings in modules positioned in adjacent bays of a said data storage device enclosure to direct a cooling stream of air between said modules in use. The airflow channel is free from components that generate substantial amounts of heat in their normal operation.

  • Publication number: 20150159473
Abstract: Methods and systems for increasing the length of time of effectiveness for the plunger lifting liquid load from a gas well, by allowing the plunger to stay ahead of the liquid inflow into the wellbore. The methods and systems involve a plunger control logic which uses measurements of the liquid load pressure, the casing pressure, the line pressure, and the tubing pressure to time the opening and closing of various valves, in order to optimize the lifting of the liquid load to surface.
