Abstract: The present invention provides a method and composition for dietary mineral supplementation utilizing a form and dosage of calcium and magnesium for enhanced calcium absorption. The method includes the steps of delaying the absorption of the magnesium for a period of time after absorption of the calcium component of the supplement. The supplement provided herein facilitates absorption of calcium in the teeth and bones of a subject, for enhanced physiological and psychological benefits. The supplement is especially beneficial for subjects experiencing osteoporosis, arthritis, demineralization of teeth and bones, bodily pain and lack of energy, as well as for the prevention of these ailments.
