  • Patent number: 4457666
Abstract: There is provided a method and device for converting energy from a moving gas stream with improved efficiency. One embodiment of the apparatus includes a frame mounted on a rotatable shaft. The frame has working blades and discharge blades mounted thereon, the arrangement of the discharge blades being sufficient to materially reduce any back pressure on the working blades.
