  • Publication number: 20160018071
Abstract: A portable light comprises: a light body extending from a light head, one or more light sources supported by the light head and energizable to produce light, and one or more switches for selectively energizing the light sources. In one embodiment, the one or more switches are at substantially diametrically opposite locations on the light body, and plural light emitting sources and/or a light emitting source and a laser light source may be provided. In another embodiment, the light body defines an envelope line extending along a side thereof and has a recess inward of the envelope line. A clip may be configured to be disposed substantially in the recess of the light body and within the envelope line of the light body.

  • Patent number: 6286810
Abstract: A valve having a valve closing member rotatably supported on one or more valve stems which are positionally infinitely adjustable is disclosed. The valve has a valve body defining a bore with an upper passageway extending from the bore. A valve stem extends coaxially through the passageway and rotatably supports the valve closing member in the bore. A cartridge is coaxially located within the passageway between the valve body and the stem. The cartridge captures the valve stem and engages the passageway via screw threads allowing for infinite positional adjustment. The cartridge also houses bearings for rotation of the stem and seals for sealing the passageway. The valve body may have a second passageway coaxially aligned with the first passageway in which a second valve stem is located. The second stem engages the passageway via screw threads allowing for infinite positional adjustment.

  • Patent number: 5935013
Abstract: A self-triggering inflatable balloon device. In a preferred embodiment, the device comprises a cylinder of compressed gas having an actuating valve thereon. The other end of the actuating valve is coupled to a deflated balloon. The cylinder, valve and deflated balloon are secured to the interior of a box having a lid. An actuating member of the valve is coupled to the box lid such that the valve is opened when the box lid is raised. Upon opening of the box lid, therefore, the actuating valve is opened and the balloon is automatically inflated with the gas from the compressed gas cylinder. The device may be given as a gift wrapped present or mailed to a friend, and will produce a surprise when opened.
