    Abstract: A modular nut cleaning plant comprises a nut sizer and a stick remover mounted to the nut sizer. A vacuum unit is mounted to the stick remover. A nut product stream will pass on the stick remover through the vacuum unit which will vacuum light debris from the nut product stream. The nut product stream moves on a chain on the stick remover. Large debris and sticks that do not fall through openings in the chain will pass into a debris conveyor. Nuts and debris that fall through the openings in the chain will be delivered to the nut sizer. The nut sizer will rotate and tumble nuts and debris in the nut product stream. Nuts of an undesirable size and debris will pass into a debris conveyor. Nuts of a desired size will pass through the nut sizer into a chute or other conveyance to be delivered to further nut processing apparatus.

The motor will drive a drive sprocket which will in turn drive a reel sprocket that is connected to the rotatable sizer cage. A chain engages the drive sprocket and the reel sprocket. The sizer cage may be lifted from the nut sizer frame by removing the chain. The nut sizer cage is a sectioned sizer cage and includes a first sizer section and a second sizer section detachably connected thereto.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a fishing alert device, referred to as a “tattle tail bobber,” and method, which rapidly signals a fisher that a fish is biting on bait or is hooked on their fishing line. Unlike conventional bobbers used in fishing, the tattle tail bobber device of the present invention is not placed on or in the water, but is attached to a fishing line and is suspended above a water source in order to provide immediate notice to a fisher of a catch, even when the fisher is not in contact with a fishing rod or is at a distance from the fishing rod. The tattle tail bobber accomplishes this by being configured to glow in the dark. Thus, the tattle tail bobber can be used at any time of the day or night without the need to use batteries or other light sources.

The lubricating system comprises an oil pressure regulating assembly mounted in an oil filter base and having a main spring to regulate oil pressure, and a high pressure relief valve assembly mounted in the oil filter base and having a peak clipping spring to relieve oil pressure when the pressure exceeds a specified limit. The method includes the steps of replacing the main spring with a replacement main spring having a higher spring constant and replacing the peak clipping spring with a replacement peak clipping spring having a higher spring constant.     Abstract: The present invention provides a device and method to repel flying pests from unwanted areas. The device comprises an optically clear tube containing a clear liquid having suspended therein a plurality of reflective metal reflective flakes. The contents of the tube are tightly sealed with an end cap at either end of the tube, and the end caps have a string attached thereto to allow a user to hang the tube from a support. Incoming light rays which hit the plurality of reflective flakes are reflected to produce outgoing light rays. Flying pests located in the vicinity are attracted to the outgoing reflected light rays and fly away from the device in substantially the same path and the same direction as one or more of the outgoing reflected light rays, and thus away from the area where they are unwanted.
