  • Publication number: 20230260070
Abstract: Computer-implemented methods and systems for processing recorded data for storage is provided. An auditable device, such as a digital video camera, stores a set of recorded data. The auditable device also stores auditable event entries that represent auditable events detected by the auditable device. One type of auditable event is the receipt of information from a computer-aided dispatch (CAD) system that indicates an event. The auditable device marks at least one subset of the set of recorded data based on the auditable event entries, and uploads the marked at least one subset of the set of recorded data to an evidence management system.

  • Patent number: 11724913
Abstract: A knockdown, portable lift is relatively compact and lightweight for transport and use where there is no existing means for lifting a load between a lower surface and an upper surface or where the existing means cannot be used. Components of the lift are stored in a base portion of the lift and are assembled on site for forming a lift frame extending between the upper and lower surfaces. A platform and drive assembly are supported on the lift frame and are driven together up and down tracks on each side of the lift frame using a rotary drive, such as a hand crank or electric motor, to power the drive assembly. The drive assembly is operable by a person on or off the platform from either the upper or lower surface or traversing stairs over which the platform is moving. The drive assembly incorporates a unique overspeed braking system and a unique clutch arrangement.

  • Patent number: 11719525
Abstract: Methods and systems for determining a position of a structure using inductive position sensing are described. In an example, a processor may receive a plurality of data points representing a plurality of voltages. The plurality of voltages may be generated by a plurality of sensor coils based on a magnetic flux field. The magnetic flux field may be generated by a plurality of driver coils, and the plurality of voltages may vary with changes in the magnetic flux field. The processor may calibrate the plurality of data points to generate a plurality of calibrated data points. The processor may filter the plurality of calibrated data points. The processor may estimate a position of the structure based on the filtered calibrated data points, where the position of the structure may indicate a size of a size changing device.

  • Publication number: 20230234137
Abstract: Embodiments relate to in-situ process monitoring of a part being made via additive manufacturing. The process can involve capturing computed tomography (CT) scans of a post-built part. A neural network (NN) can be used during the build of a new part to process multi-modal sensor data. Spatial and temporal registration techniques can be used to align the data to x,y,z coordinates on the build plate. During the build of the part, the multi-modal sensor data can be superimposed on the build plate. Machine learning can be used to train the NN to correlate the sensor data to a defect label or a non-defect label by looking to certain patterns in the sensor data at the x,y,z location to identify a defect in the CT scan at x,y,z. The NN can then be used to predict where defects are or will occur during an actual build of a part.

  • Patent number: 11689534
Abstract: Technologies are disclosed for dynamic authorization of users for distributed systems. A permission service allows authorized users to specify permissions for users of different systems, such as physical access security systems (PACS) and easier for users to interact with the authorized resources of the PACS. A manager may select a role for the user to specify the allowed permissions for the user. Changing the permissions/resources of a role automatically changes the permissions for users that are associated with the role. A scope may also be assigned to the user that specifies the locations of the physical resources that the user may access (e.g., a particular data center, a region, globally, . . . ). Instead of having to locate specific resources that the user is authorized to access, a graphical user interface (GUI) displays the authorized resources. When the resources change, the GUI is dynamically updated.

  • Publication number: 20230149867
Abstract: Viscosity and other properties are determined at desired temperatures in drilling mud and other fluids by using a versatile cavitation device which, operating in the cavitation mode, mixes and heats the fluid to a specified temperature, and, operating in the shear mode, acts as a spindle for application of Couette principles to determine viscosity as a function of shear stress and shear rate. The invention obviates the practice of adjusting rheology of a drilling fluid by passing it through the drill bit. Drilling fluid may be managed by a “straight-through” method to the well, or by placing the cavitation device in a loop which isolates an aliquot of known volume and circulating the fluid through the loop including the cavitation device.
