    Abstract: An outdoor hunting blind shelter which is completely portable, all weather, and compact is an inflatable single unit hunting blind and a camper's restroom facility combined, furnishing features consisting of walls and roof which are supported by hollow, tube-type ribs forming a framework all of which are made of vinyl plastic. The hollow, vinyl plastic ribs are inflated with air through an air valve located in the foundation rib. The walls and roof are of thin plastic vinyl material joined to the ribs, and they feature an opening for entry and departure in one wall of the shelter. Windows for viewing and firing firearms are provided in the other walls. Support tie-off loops are located at each corner top and bottom of the shelter for extra support if needed. Restroom facilities include both shower and tub combinations.

    Abstract: A quick disconnect intercell busbar for providing an easily removable, inidually insulated bussing system for deep submergence batteries. A bussing conductor having silver plated copper pin terminations carries battery currents with a minimal voltage drop. The busbar is insulated to provide sealing of the battery electrical circuits thereby eliminating shorts caused by electrolyte contamination or seawater intrusion. A low current conductor connected to the bussing conductor with suitable insulation provides for monitoring of intercell voltages.

    Abstract: A novel process is disclosed for the preparation of cyclic ureas having the formula ##STR1## wherein A is a straight chain alkylene radical of 2 to 4 carbon atoms, inclusive, wherein said alkylene radical can be substituted by at least one member selected from the group consisting of halogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, aryl, aryloxy, aralkyl, and cycloaklyl. An alkylene diamine having the formula NH.sub.2 ANH.sub.2, wherein A is defined as above, is reacted in a solvent with carbonyl sulfide to form the corresponding N-(.omega.-aminoalkyl)thiocarbamic acid (NH.sub.2 ANHCOSH) or zwitterion thereof. The thiocarbamic acid is then heated to form the cyclic urea.The cyclic ureas are useful as cross-linkers and extenders in polyurethane formulations, and those ureas having 4 carbons in the alkylene chain find particular utility in the production of bis cyclic ureas which serve as masked isocyanate compounds in one-component polyurethane elastomer formulations.

    Abstract: The disclosure teaches a novel noise making accessory for vehicles having spoked wheels such as bicycles or the like, and, more specifically, teaches such a noise making accessory which is adjustable to produce different sounds. The accessory includes a plurality of fingers which can be selectively positioned to extend into the path of travel of the spokes of one of the wheels of the vehicle. As the fingers are of different sizes, different sounds will be produced when a different one or different ones of the fingers extend into the path of travel of the spokes. The spokes can be of different lengths, widths, thicknesses, or a combination of the above. The objective of the accessory is to produce a motor-like sound.

    Abstract: Novel bis cyclic ureas are disclosed having the formula ##STR1## WHEREIN C.sub.n H.sub.2 n represents alkylene from 4 to 12 inclusive and provided there are at least 4 carbon atoms in succession in the chain and R is the residue obtained by the removal of both halogen atoms from a diacid halide.The bis cyclic ureas are easily converted to a novel class of aliphatic diisocyanates simply by heating. Alternatively, they are blended with polymeric polyols to form one-component storage stable compositions which are thermally converted to polyurethane resins without any significant volatile or side product formation.

    Abstract: Novel araliphatic diisocyanates having the formulaOCN(CH.sub.2).sub.3 OArX(CH.sub.2).sub.3 NCOare disclosed wherein X is oxygen or a single bond and Ar is an arylene radical. The araliphatic diisocyanates are prepared from well known and readily obtainable starting materials. When X represents a single bond, the starting material is a monohydric phenol wherein a C-alkylation reaction followed by an O-alkylation reaction with acrylonitrile provides an intermediate dipropionitrile which is converted to the diisocyanate via phosgenation of the corresponding diamine. When X represents oxygen, the starting material is a dihydric phenol wherein O-alkylation with acrylonitrile provides the dipropionitrile which in turn is converted to the diisocyanate via the phosgenation of the corresponding diamine. The diisocyanates find particular utility in the preparation of color and light stable polyurethane products.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a duplex basket strainerarrangement. Such arrangements include an outer casing having a first basket strainer receptacle at one end thereof, a second basket strainer receptacle at the other end thereof, a center plug receptacle having an inner wall surface and being disposed between the first and second receptacles, inlet means disposed in one side wall of the casing for permitting entry of a fluid into the casing, and outlet means in the other side wall of the casing for permitting exit of the fluid from the casing and a center plug disposed in the center plug receptacle. In accordance with the invention, the center plug comprises an elongated member, circular in cross-section, having an inflow stage and an outflow stage, and resilient means disposed around the periphery of the elongated member between said inflow and the outflow stages.

    Abstract: An apparatus for the removal of meat from Crustacean members having tubular shells, particularly crab legs. The apparatus comprises a shell slitting device including an eccentric rotary cutter and a stationary cutter. The stationary cutter includes an elongated guide member which is introduced into an open end of the tubular shell between the meat and the shell. Also described is a conveying apparatus and a device for opening the slit shells for the removal of the meat.

    Abstract: A gas vent tube for removing gas from a container while minimizing loss of iquids. The vent is mounted in a cylindrical container on a 360.degree. rotating joint and has a buoyant material attached to always maintain the vent in an upright position. The pickup tube also has a buoyancy closure valve to prevent the loss of liquid when the end of the pickup tube is not in a gas, and may be provided with a check valve when the container is submerged in a second liquid to prevent the intrusion of the second liquid into the container.

    Abstract: A blade locking device, for locking radially projecting blades on a rotor includes a pair of retaining pins having enlarged forward and aft end portions or lugs. The retaining pins are inserted into a radial space between the blade tang and the bottom of the rotor slot. Spacer means maintain the retaining pins circumferentially spaced apart and further maintain the end lugs in confronting and overlapping relationship with forward and aft abutment surfaces on the sides of the rotor and with forward and aft end faces on each end of the blade tang. The spacer means are fixed against axial movement relative to said retaining members. Resilient biasing means can be provided to bias the rotor blade radially outward.
