    Abstract: A lead engagement device is configured to be positioned in a lead lumen. The lead engagement device includes a hypotube. The hypotube includes a wall having an inner surface defining an inner lumen and an outer surface. The wall defines a longitudinal axis of the hypotube. A plurality of lead engagement fingers extend outwardly and proximally from the outer surface at acute angles, and planes in which the acute angles are disposed extend diagonally relative to the longitudinal axis. The plurality of lead engagement fingers are configured to translate relative to the lead and permit relative motion between the lead engagement device and the lead when applying a first force to the lead engagement device. The plurality of lead engagement fingers are configured to engage the lead and inhibit relative motion between the lead engagement device and the lead when applying an opposite second force to the lead engagement device.

    Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein relate to systems and methods for identifying features sensed by a vascular device. In an embodiment, a vascular device configured to identify features sensed by the vascular device comprises and imaging device and a processing device. The imaging device is configured to be disposed in a vascular space and send at least one signal corresponding to an image of the vascular space. The processing device is electronically coupled to the imaging device and is configured to: receive the at least one signal corresponding to the image of the vascular space; determine at least one feature included in the image; identify at least a portion of the feature using a graphical representation; and output the graphical representation identifying the portion of the feature to a display device.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a device (1) for providing image data during an extraction procedure for extracting a lead from the body of a subject using an extraction device (7). The device comprises an input (2) for receiving live x-ray projection image data of the lead during the extraction procedure and for receiving three-dimensional image data as acquired before the extraction procedure. A processing unit (3) determines a position of the extraction device (7) in the three-dimensional image data by detecting the position in the live projection image data during the procedure and correlates this position in the live projection image data with the position in the three-dimensional image data. An output (4) generates an image of a cross-sectional view of the lead and/or its surrounding body structure at the determined position based on the three-dimensional image data.
