    Abstract: The present invention is directed to a cap or closure for a container. The closure includes a top surface devoid of an opening, a downwardly extending apron arranged about the periphery of the top surface, and a grasping tab. The top surface and apron define therebetween an interior area which is adapted to receive the opening of a container. The grasping tab is hingedly attached to the top surface of the closure and is positionable between an extended condition and a stored condition. When the grasping tab is in the extended condition, the tab may be grasped between the fingers of the user's hand.
