  • Patent number: 8199951
Abstract: A hearing aid device, including a switch being operable to open and close an electric circuit of the device; and a battery locating means for selectively locating a battery within said device for electrical communication with said electric circuit, wherein the switch inhibits the battery locating means from removing the battery from electrical communication with said electric circuit when the switch is arranged to close the electric circuit.

  • Publication number: 20090136069
Abstract: The invention relates to a hearing aid device and a hearing aid switch. The switch is operable to open and close an electric circuit of the hearing aid device. A lock for the switch is operable to selectively enable and disenable a hearing aid device function. The hearing aid device comprises a device for selectively inhibiting the operation of the switch to enable or to disenable the hearing aid device function.

  • Publication number: 20080101637
Abstract: A sound conductor for a hearing apparatus is provided. A first end is fastenable to an acoustic unit of the hearing apparatus and a second end of which is fastenable to a housing of the hearing apparatus, with a middle longitudinal curve being defined for the sound conductor, with the sound conductor comprising at least one flexible section, which can be deformed in a reversible fashion, and with a length of the middle longitudinal curve being changeable from one first value to a second value by deforming the flexible section of the sound conductor, and the middle longitudinal curve maintaining the second value for the length until a predetermined minimal force for deforming the flexible section is exerted onto the sound conductor. Furthermore, a corresponding hearing apparatus is described with a housing and an acoustic unit, which are connected to one another with the aid of a sound conductor.

  • Publication number: 20070248234
Abstract: Hearing apparatuses and in particular hearing devices are to be designed smaller. To this end, provision is made to integrate an electrical control facility for controlling the hearing apparatus into the cover for covering a programming connection of the hearing apparatus. This multifunctionality of the cover allows installation space to be saved. It is particularly favorable if an actuating element of an electrical push button is mounted to the same bolt, to which the cover itself is also mounted.

  • Publication number: 20070047751
Abstract: A hearing device with an audio shoe is to be designed in a simpler and less interference-susceptible manner. To this end, provision is made for an audio shoe to comprise contact springs of such type that directly contact the circuit boards of a hearing device. A contact intermediate piece between the audio shoe and the circuit board of the hearing device can thus be dispensed with. Furthermore, contact problems caused by the intermediate piece can hereby be avoided and the assembly cost for the hearing device reduced.
