  • Publication number: 20120100917
Abstract: The invention relates to video game technology, and more particularly is a video game detecting system. It includes a main console module, remote controller module, and a main console/remote control module communication link. The remote control module will react to the message from the main console module. The remote control module consists of a microcontroller unit (MCU) and gripping force detector (grip sensor). The gripping force detector is connected to the MCU, and can detect the gripping force applied to the remote control module by the video game player. The remote control MCU will transmit the gripping force information to the main console module via RF wireless technology. Based on the game software design, the video game system will provide a feedback reaction based on the gripping force of the video game player.

  • Patent number: 7855778
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention comprise an apparatus for use with a laser range finder configured to direct a laser beam toward a scene to measure the distance to a target in the scene and having a range finder display for displaying data, including data that is indicative of the distance to a target, wherein the apparatus comprises a protective housing, a camera module in the housing, the camera module including a lens mounted in a front end portion of the housing, and a light path through the lens to image sensor, an image sensor operatively connected to the camera module for receiving images acquired by the camera module, electronic memory for selectively storing data of images from the image sensor, circuitry for controlling the operation of the image sensor and the memory, a camera display in the housing operatively connected to the image sensor for receiving the image data and providing a visual display of the image, and a switch for storing image data in the memory.

  • Patent number: 6804892
Abstract: An alignment device provides one or more references, such as laser lines and planes in horizontal and vertical orientations. One version of the alignment device includes an optics mounting assembly situated in a pivot socket on a frame to provide an output beam. Multiple spring systems and one or more alignment assemblies align and secure the optics mounting assembly in the socket. As a result, the output beam has a desired orientation with respect to true level. A first spring system directs the optics mounting assembly through the pivot socket. A second spring system holds the optics mounting assembly in communication with the alignment assemblies to reduce system backlash. One implementation of the pivot socket has a surface in the form of a sphere's interior surface. A set of support members on the optics mounting assembly rest on the pivot socket's spherical surface—causing the output reference beam to extend from the center of a sphere including the socket's spherical surface.
