Eight molecules are receptor agonists and three molecules are antagonists of LuxO, the central NtrC-type response regulator that controls the global V. cholerae QS cascade. Pro-QS molecules are used for the development of novel anti-infectives.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a cylinder lock of the type of a disk tumbler cylinder having a cylinder housing and a cylinder core rotatable therein, with a plurality of blockable disk tumblers being provided in the cylinder core which have at least one respective engagement section. The disk tumblers are movable between an unlatched position and a latched position and are biased along a respective direction of bias into the latched position. In the latched position, the respective engagement section engages into an associated cut-out in the cylinder housing to block the cylinder core against a rotary movement relative to the cylinder housing. The cylinder core is rotatable in a rotary opening direction relative to the cylinder housing when the disk tumblers are in the unlatched position.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a loop lock, in particular to a chain lock or to a wire cable lock, having a lock body which has a longitudinal axis and which surrounds a cylinder housing of a lock cylinder and having a loop, wherein the first end of the loop is permanently fastened to a fastening point of the cylinder housing and is aligned perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the lock body, wherein a second end of the loop can be releasably fastened to a longitudinal end of the lock body and is aligned coaxially to the longitudinal axis of the lock body; and wherein a cylinder core of the lock cylinder is rotatably journalled about an axis of rotation in the cylinder housing and is characterized in that the axis of rotation of the cylinder core is offset in parallel with respect to the longitudinal axis of the lock body, namely away from the fastening point for the first end of the loop.

    Abstract: A brake disk lock having a lock body which has a first housing section and a second housing section which bound a receiving gap for the reception of a brake disk in a typically U-shaped arrangement. A locking bolt is provided at the first housing section and is movable along a closing direction from a release position into a closed position. In the closed position, the locking bolt engages into an engagement opening of the second housing section and closes the receiving gap. The closing direction of the locking bolt is aligned obliquely to the receiving gap of the lock body at an angle different from 90°.
