  • Patent number: 8697562
Abstract: Metal contact formation for molecular device junctions by surface-diffusion-mediated deposition (SDMD) is described. In an example, a method of fabricating a molecular device junction by surface-diffusion-mediated deposition (SDMD) includes forming a molecular layer above a first region of a substrate. A region of metal atoms is formed above a second region of the substrate proximate to, but separate from, the first region of the substrate. A metal contact is then formed by migrating metal atoms from the region of metal atoms onto the molecular layer.

  • Patent number: 7398538
Abstract: A disk drive unit for a disk includes a mounting plate, a spindle motor assembly, a slide mechanism provided with a slide, a pickup unit mounted on the slide, a first transmission member operatively connected with the slide, and a second transmission member. The first transmission member is positioned such that it is in engagement with the second transmission member when the pickup unit is in its read and/or write position, and such that the first transmission member is out of engagement with the second transmission member when the pickup unit is in its home position. In order to bring the first and second transmission members into engagement, the transmission members are provided with engagement members. As a result, a limit switch assembly is no longer necessary.

  • Publication number: 20080017762
Abstract: A clip for mounting a fluid delivery device adjacent a wall of an enclosure is disclosed. In one embodiment, the device includes a base, a hook configured to support the base adjacent the wall, means for attaching a fluid delivery device to the base, and means for rotating the base. Additionally, a method for attaching a clip for mounting a fluid delivery device adjacent a toilet bowl is disclosed. The method includes securing a hook to a rim, engaging a tab of a base to an underside of the rim at an interface, and rotating the base in response to the interface to substantially engage the tab of the base with the underside of the rim.
