  • Patent number: 11984837
Abstract: A method for determining an angular position of a rotating component is disclosed. A sensor system is positioned at a radial distance from an axis of rotation of the rotating component. A magnetic ring is arranged fixedly and concentrically on the rotating component, generating a magnetic field that changes with respect to the sensor system. The sensor system detects the magnetic field in which a signal is captured and evaluated with respect to the angular position. Errors in the measurement of the angular position can be corrected. The signal captured by the sensor system is evaluated with respect to the amplitude information of the magnetic field. A correction parameter is determined from the amplitude information, and an angle error is of the angular position is determined based on the correction parameter. The angle error is used to correct the angular position.

  • Patent number: 10739163
Abstract: A sensor assembly for determining a number of rotations of a permanent magnet includes a first sensor. The permanent magnet has an axis of rotation, end surfaces lying in an X-Y plane, a central axis, and exactly two poles. The two poles are disposed in the X-Y plane on mutually opposite sides of the permanent magnet so that the permanent magnet is magnetized diametrically. The first sensor is axially fixed and rotationally displaceable relative to the permanent magnet. The first sensor is disposed at a first distance axially offset from the permanent magnet and at a second distance radially offset from the axis of rotation. The second distance is selected so that a vector sum of a radial flux density and a tangential flux density is not less than a first limit value and does not exceed a second limit value.

  • Patent number: 8862344
Abstract: A clutch actuator and to a method for the control thereof. The actuator actuates a multi-disk clutch, and to do so has actuator modules. The number of which corresponds to the number of the friction clutches. The modules have separate control units and electric motors, which are controlled by the control units and act on the friction clutches by a disengaging mechanism. In order to counter block the partial drive trains disposed downstream of the friction clutches, particularly automatically closed friction clutches during a malfunction of an actuator module, the actuator modules are connected among each other to a data line, which allows monitoring of the actuator modules and counter-measures.
