At the lower part of the outer casing, there is a fetching mouth which is detachably mounted to a liquid container. At the top of the outer casing, there is a detachably sealed top cover. Inside the outer casing, there is a hollow core with a top opening. There is an inlet mouth on the side wall of the core that corresponds to the fetching mouth. The internal wall of the outer casing can slide against the external wall of the core. The core's rotating or sliding along its longitudinal orientation makes the fetching mouth and the inlet mouth correspond or stagger. This invention provides an easy-to-operate, precise rationing, quick and sanitary volumetric pipet.

Abstract: A scalable Media-on-Demand (MoD) method to a large group of users in the Internet. This method makes use of peer buffering capabilities to collaborate in the distribution and downloading of media, facilitated by a central repository for the search of optimal peers as parent nodes to connect to and for the support of advanced features such as fast forward and backward plays. The method relieves the server load by shifting the media streaming functionality to the client side with high media receiving continuity and quality, leading to well-balanced and low network loads.

Abstract: A reuseable fastener for attaching a garment or other item to a user is disclosed. The fastener including a pad having an adhesive on one side and a first fastener member attached to an opposing side thereof, the adhesive being adherable to a user's body for attaching the pad thereto. A garment having at least one second fastener member attached thereto, the second fastener member being releasably coupleable to the first fastener member such that the garment can be worn by a user by adhering the pad to the user's body via the adhesive, and, after donning the garment, coupling the first and second fastener members one to the other for securing the garment to the body. The garment being removable by decoupling the first and second fastener members and removing the garment from the body. The first fastener member being resusable while the pad is adhered to the user.
