  • Publication number: 20140225524
Abstract: A circuit arrangement for a Light Emitting Diode (LED) driver of an LED is an inductor-based boost circuit arrangement with an inductor, switch, and LED. Power stored inductively may be delivered to the LED in the form of current through use of switching. The switching may include a first switching phase and a second switching phase. The inductor-based boost circuit arrangement lowers cost and increases reliability as compared with existing LED drivers. Further, the circuit arrangement has improved efficiency compared with existing LED drivers.
